Video hasn't shown up, at least not for me anyway. . .
Found the one you were on about though, that's mad skill.

Not many would be interested in this news story, but this would be immense for me if The Stone Roses (often called the George Best of Rock 'n' Roll) reunited. The fact that Ian Brown and John Squire have talked for the first time in years (could be 15 years if the rumours are true) will fuel speculation that a reunion for The Stone Roses is in the pipeline.

I know very few (off the top of my head only me, Inverness and Peadar) on here like Cricket but i'm very excited. The start of the cricket season starts tomorrow. My team (Yorkshire) start with an away game to the gorgeous New Road, home of Worcester. Wish I was going, especially if the weather is like it's been the past 2 days. I'm optimistic of a good season for Yorkshire after a superb season last season (finishing 3rd and within touching distance of the title) despite the fact our best player had to go back to South Africa as his family weren't settled in Yorkshire. One of the best things about English cricket currently, is the amount of youngsters playing in the first team, and it has allowed the cricketing community to see what great young English talent we have. Something we do not boast with Football sadly.

Let's see how good he is without the rocking tunes belting in the background! Put on some Metallica and the defenders would be taking the legs out from under him before he could try any of that fancy ****!

No mate, more of a statement on that there doesn't seem to be many genuinely very good young English players, unlike in cricket, where there are quite a few, probably 2 teams full worth of very good young talent.

Forgot to say, one of my bosses I work with at the Council, her husband is a professional cricketer, and is going to playing against the team I support (Yorkshire) today, which is a bit surreal.

Topsy turvy day for my team, it was going very well for us at one stage but Worcester got some momentum late on today. Day 1 of the season over, good chance of a result in this game I reckon with 3 days of sunshine to come. Our most experienced player failed a late fitness test but it's given us a chance to play another of our youngsters, hopefully he'll do well tomorrow. We've picked up 3 points from this game so far to Worcester's 2. Overall not a bad day, could've been better but if we do well tomorrow then we will be in with a good chance of recording a win.

If you managed to follow any of that Jub, then I salute you!!

Just finished watching the 2nd episode of The Runaway which I Sky+ed (which InvernessStokie recommended to me), bloody hell it's grim. Bloody marvellous though. Missed the first episode but Inverness recommended it to me and I Sky+ed the repeat of the first episode on Wednesday, and as I said, just finished watching the 2nd episode.

:cheesy: I didn't but hey - I hope things "improve" for your turn.

"The Runaway" well I don't like anything too grim or gorey but I can see the appeal of such shows. Talking about TV, one of my favourite shows is "Hustle". <ok>

The mighty Bray Wanderers won 1-0 away in Tallaght against league champions Shamrock Rovers last night in front of a bumper crowd of 4,000! Come on you Seagulls! :D

The County Cricket team I support are playing terribly at the moment and look set for a humiliating defeat. Relegation inevitable.

I used to but I was nowhere near as good as my father or uncle, plus I wasn't enjoying playing it so I quit. It was playing cricket I got the nickname The Incredible Sulk.

I have a surreal story that I found out about earlier on. A friend of mine from High School played against England hero Alastair Cook for Cambridge against Essex the other day and got him out!! Here's a pic of my mate bowling to Cook:

Well somehow we've managed, in the end, a very comfortable victory. We didn't play well, but 2 of our players brought us back from a losing position to a winning position. We got a decent lead and bowled them out. We had a small target of 56 to chase which we did comfortably. 22 points for us and we go top for the time being at least. Good win, but we need to improve, not many teams will be as forgiving as Worcestershire were to us.
