Not having a go here, but we have a City Rumours thread, so why does everyone start a new thread when there's a new City rumour?

I've merged three Coppinger threads already, I'll leave this forth one up for today, just to avoid a fifth, but can City rumours go on the City rumour thread please.

The city rumours thread just turns into page after page of 'oh, player X has been made available, would love us to sign him' so i tend to avoid it, whereas this is a rumour that has been in a number of sources and seems to have a certain element of truth in it. Just my opinion, of course.

Yeah - I feel that a 'red hot rumour' might exist in its own right, folding into City Rumours at a later date....yes?

I just find having to trawl through pages and pages throughly irretating. By all means we do not need four rumour threads but when every single rumour thread gets but into one it gets lost! Whats wrong with having a james coppinger thread on its own, if you do not want to look at it, don't click it....simples!

i laugh sometimes as it seems that duplicate threads is the most heinous of forum crimes - once noticed the offender swiftly apologises -
its crazy when you consider the amount of arguments that can kick off that never result in an apology .

Start from the highest number first so you get the most recent news. Err 'Simples'!

I much prefer to look at the main page and see what's happening in the titles than have to fish through thousands of posts where there's numerous topics being discussed, and with the swift 5 minute checks it's far easier for me to keep up to date. I never even bother to look at the transfer rumours thread because it's so cluttered, transfer rumour hoarding at its very best!

I hope interesting topics can merit their own exclusive thread forever more <ok>

According to James Nursey in The Mirror, we're interested (along with Celtic and Nottm Forest) in Chris Wood who has been told he can leave West Brom.

I rate him, looked great for Brum last season, still got a few goals for Bristol City even though they were poor last season, too.

Would welcome his addition, but can't see it myself.

He's a decent player. I'd welcome him, scored against us from Brum at the KC too.

Sticky posts are good, duplicates are bad. But I do prefer individual threads for each potential rumour.

The problem with sticky posts is that the conversation is one continuous flow and if you arrive midway through it, you're a bit lost.
