Are all GP2 cars the same? Like exactly equal for every driver?

Depends who your team is though to define "exactly equal".

That series never likes to shy away from the fact that the more money you have the better your team will be, some haven't needed it..........but most have!

Same chassis, engine and tyres.

Despite that, it's quite common to see certain teams teams (like ART) doing well, while others are usually at the back of the grid (like Ocean Racing). The best teams can set up the car better (i've heard that DAMS found something in the set-up which gives them better tyre management). The best teams are also quicker in pit stops and better at strategy. The best teams tend to have better drivers as well, while lesser teams have **** drivers like Serenelli.

What does an F1 driver have to do to get a superlicense?

To qualify for an FIA Super Licence the requesting driver must already be the holder of a Grade A competition licence, and additionally meet the requirements of the FIA International Sporting Code, Appendix L. These requirements state that the driver must be either the reigning champion in a lower category of motor sport, for example Formula 3 (British, Italian or Japanese championship, or Euro Series), Formula 2, or GP2 Series (formerly known as Formula 3000), or must have consistently finished well in these categories. For example, a driver finishing in the first three positions five times within the last two years in GP2 will be eligible for a Super Licence.
Additionally, drivers who have competed in the IndyCar Series are eligible for a Super Licence if they finished within the first four places of the drivers championship. This allows drivers from the United States domestic series to move into Formula One without first taking part in other FIA sanctioned events. Under exceptional circumstances Appendix L also allows the FIA to award a Super Licence to a driver who does not meet the normal criteria if a vote reveals unanimous agreement by the members, and provided that the driver has completed 300 kilometres of testing at racing speeds in a current car.

There's also what BLS has mentioned, the ability to get out of the car quickly.

OK, why do we have Blue Flags? I prefer the Endyrance racing approach, where it's up to the faster car to find their own way through, unassisted. It should happen in F1, so what are the flags for?

Can you imagine Monaco? For me seeing the result of a race effected because some backmarker wanted more air time sucks. Not to mention the potential Red Bull/Toro Rosso shenanigans.

I wonder if Silver has a view on pesky backmarkers wanting more air time and getting in the way!? ;)

Too late, I already wrote to Sky and FOM that they should of put a black box over Lewis' car on the TV so not to show bias towards backrunners that were in the way trying to get more advertisment.

And I sent my idea for a future Sky project about screen blocking drivers you dont care to be on the screen. I think it will be a big hit...

(What I want out of the coverage at my house)

Sadly Sky hasn't come back to me yet, but I'm hopeful!

I want this to be done in real life. Anybody or anything I dont like can just be censored out or pixalated. Come on Sky!!

<laugh> I would love that. At the US presidential debate, it would be a big box vs Romney.

This would be my selected intro song over the "Just drive" junk Sky thinks is cool!

No bias in that and it would be 100 times better than the BBC coverage I once had.
