    Agreed about Beckford and Konchesky but they still have links to Liverpool

    I'd agree with all that you have put - market price about right. The problem is that he would likely be exposed if we were to go up ... but that is a long way off at this point ...

    In response to the market value - Mills last year was £4m, a year later it is £2m. Is he the same player? Yes he is.

    I have always rated Gerrard very highly and would be very excited by this.

    Hes not crap.

    Hes just not very good.

    Average centre half who cant get in our line up because hes not good enough. (and we could probably do with another centre back)

    Seems to have fallen out with 2 managers now.

    Im stunned Leicester who I see as one of the promotion favourites are interested in him.

    If I was you id hope he goes to Bristol City - which id say is his standard.

    Im also suprised we turned down £200k.

    Id say £250k and hes yours.

    Hope you get him.

    We're only after a 4th choice CB, nobody special.

    Someone who the gaffer has previously worked with and has with experience in this division all for only 200k wouldn't be bad.

    But I agree, I hoped for someone better.
