Townsend's a right back and to my knowledge, he's never played in a single league football match in his life, so he's not about to be dropped straight into our first team.
Yeah I read somewhere he said he'd be happy to go back to Grimsby again as he thinks he wouldn't get many chances when competing with Daws and Dudge. However I think he could be a first choice for a league two club/squad player for a league one club and progress much more than if he stays with us this season, the same goes for Bradley.
Anyone heard anything about where weiss will end up this summer, still lost at man city, maybe worth a loan or even a transfer enquiry.

He was playing in La Liga last season and has played in the prem on loan for Bolton. I can't see him coming on loan to the champ. Regards Aluko: playing in the SPL is slightly different to playing in the Prem or La Liga and dropping to the champ.

As it's popular and being quite well used it'll stay near the top of the board which is no problem, but we're a bit high on stickies so I'm dropping one. Chosen this one because most of the times we're linked with a player we get a seperate thread on it anyway, so it being a sticky isn't really serving a purpose (main reason for having stickies being to reduce the the number of threads started and keep similar posts together).

I'd agree, if you want to unsticky one, I'd have gone for the Olympics or the big transfers, rather than ours.
As Ricardo has said on another thread, there's little point in getting rid of the Olympic thread when people will just choose instead to create dozens of O/T threads over the next few weeks.
And I'd agree that we always end up with a thread on each player linked anyway.
