The new Rangers appear likely to be granted membership of the Scottish Football Association after accepting a 12-month transfer embargo. Sevco Scotland, which now owns Rangers' assets after the old club headed for liquidation, needs the membership to play in Division Three this season. The embargo would begin on 1 September and end on 31 August next year. That would mean Rangers could sign players in the current transfer window but not in January or next summer. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18929983 More garbage, so they get a transfer ban but can still sign players. Absolute joke the crime was committed last season, it should apply this summer.
What do you mean "again"? Did I just dream that Rangers were liquidated and the newco will start life in division 3? What exactly have we been let off with? Rangers have paid the ultimate price for any wrong doings. Any other punishment means nothing really cos the biggest punishment has already been given. All our own doing of course, no complaints there but what else needs to happen to us for Celtic fans to be happy?
Exactly, they have paid the ultimate price. Absolute oblivion. They are nought but a memory. The football equivalent of Troy. Sevco = Ilium
Fine then suspension it is. If they are going to accept a transfer ban then it should be this summer as per the rules and the original judgement. SFA=Corruption
If anything it's the SFA who aren't following the rules, they hit us with a punishment that was ruled unlawful but still want to hit us with it anyway. Aye you're right, we got let off big time there The SFA are saying it's my party and I'll cry if I want to, cry if I want to, cry if I want to. Play by our made up as we go along rules or you're not playing at all
We're not just any Tom, Dick or Harry trying to join a new league though. As much as Celtic fans don't want to admit it we're still Rangers, we're still gonna have one of the biggest fan following in the country and Scotland as a footballing country can't afford to lose these peoples money for 3 years
