Next seasons window apparently closes on 2nd September , Sevco can buy next summer !! So the ban just applies to the winter transfer window .
There was no point in putting Sevco into Division 3 with only 6 players This doesn't matter, give them an avenue to spend mone if they want one......they have enough bills as it is Ibrox insured yet?
How is this a share transfer when the original decision was for a transfer ban starting this summer? For the share to transfer then the original punishment should transfer as well.
It is a share transfer because the Sevco do not qualify to get their own share. Csn you explain why you think the original punishment should transfer from Rangers to Sevco along with the share?
I don't but its the SFA's rules. Surely then the original punishment should transfer over or its not a share transfer?
When did rules matter? The SFA have bent over backwards to accommodate Rangers, why would it be any different for Sevco? Sevco weren't going to go into division 3 with 12 players.
They have kids and could sign under 18's. Its not the SFA's fault they don't have a squad to compete. The only reason this decision was made was to allow rangers to sign players to win that league at the first attempt. 1 tainted title beckons.
Rangers will never sign another player ever. They are a club about to be liquidated who has just relinquished their league. Cheer up man, they are more dead now than they were 4 hours ago. http://www.rangers.co.uk/staticFiles/a2/b6/0,,5~177826,00.pdf Read first line of this document Sevco got a leg up. They'll still be a nothing club.
SATURDAY 21 JULY 2012 SFL rule out stripping Rangers of League Cups won during EBT era Michael Grant Chief football writer THE Scottish Football League has no plans to consider stripping Rangers of the six League Cups won between 2001 and 2010, even if the club is found guilty of making undisclosed payments to players via Employee Benefit Trusts during those years. The two other governing bodies, the Scottish Football Association and Scottish Premier League, have worked on a draft document which proposes stripping Rangers of five league titles and four Scottish Cups if an ongoing investigation finds the club guilty of breaking rules by not disclosing payments made via EBTs. But the League Cup is run by the Scottish Football League and Rangers won that trophy in 2001-02, 2002-03, 2004-05, 2007-08, 2009-10 and 2010-11, all of which were within the 2001-2010 period in which EBTs were used. David Longmuir, the SFL chief executive, attended the Scottish Communities League Cup first round draw with First Minister Alex Salmond yesterday â they announced the Scottish Government will sponsor the cup for £1.7m this season â as Rangers were drawn against East Fife. Longmuir played down the likelihood of his organisation taking back trophies won by Rangers. âNot at this stage,â he said. âWe are âbusiness as usualâ at this moment. âFrom the day we announced that Rangers would be in the third division my only thought was how to rebuild the game, get investment back in and take the game forward. Iâm not looking back any more. Iâm getting to the point now where I can see light at the end of the tunnel and I can see the game beginning to get back on its feet.â Rangers, who were unseeded in the draw held at Stenhousemuirâs Ochilview, were represented by the head of their youth department, Jimmy Sinclair. He saw them paired with East Fife in what will be the newco clubâs first competitive home fixture. Ties will be held on Saturday August 4 although Rangersâ could be moved because Celtic are at home to Aberdeen in the SPL that day. Sinclair was optimistic that manager Ally McCoistâs impoverished squad, now reliant on several youth players, could handle the third division. âI think a Rangers jersey is a heavy jersey no matter which forum youâre playing in,â he said. âBut the boys who have come into the team in the past have handled themselves well and Iâve no reason to suspect anything other than the ones who are with us now, albeit they are a bit younger, will handle it as well. It is now a bit of a grey area, what constitutes a first team player and what constitutes a youth player!â I wouldn't expect anything different with this dual contract investigation either.
Still sure? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18941515 no chance they are taking any titles of them.
How the mighty have fallen. Last season Sally had his bears in Germany Pre-season. Celtic were in Australia, the year before we were in the US and Canada, this year Germany and Holland. The Cayman Islands based team that plays in the EPL are in S. Africa and Asia. Sally scolding that his club had planned a three day tour of the Highlands, so sad really. They intended going to play 5 aside.
