Arsenal and Liverpool are battling for Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo.
AS says the 26-year-old, who started as a lone striker in Spain's Euro 2012 semi-final clash against Portugal, is thought to have caught the eye of the Premier League duo.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is likely to move for the former Real Madrid youth player once want-away striker Robin van Persie decides his future.
And new Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is looking to replace Andy Carroll with a more mobile forward as part of his summer plans.
Negredo is likely to be an option for the Anfield side if a deal for Roma ace Fabio Borini falls through
No wisdom? I thought he was a cut above as well?
Ahh, I don' t do the dang flabbeled twitter ma-jig.![]()
You should, people complain about it too much, it's a useful site when used properly.

I'll take Negredo any day!
Coming round to Aqua staying put now...

Might not be the best idea with Suarez there......

Might not be the best idea with Suarez there......
We should have signed him a year ago.
Suarez in court.
'Evra a Nigrito, nah, I was talking to my made Alvaro'.

I know I have said 'he can go **** him self' several times on here, but if he knuckles down, works hard and shows his commitment to Liverpool Football Club then I'd be prepared to accept him. I just don't see it happening and I predict that sometime in August his agents comments will change from 'he wants to stay' to 'he to return to Italy'. I guess time will tell, maybe the signing of Borini (Italian) could help with Aquilani? alberto would certainly work in Rodgers' system![]()
Resulted to copying now...![]()
He gets in the box to, unlike most of our midfield.
So if true its looking like:
-------------------Reina-------------------
-Johnson----Skrtel-------Ager------Enrique-
-------------------Lucas-------------------
----------Gerrard----------Aquilani----------
-------Suarez-----------------xxxxxx--------
-------------------Borini---------------------
Looks good.

I like Henderson but that certainly looks better to me
Dempsey as the unknown? Or Bellamy? Or push Gerrard forward and put Henderson back in the middle?
Downing....
I'd love to see Affelay there.
I would too .. Especially for what, €6.5m?
