Rofl. You don't need to. I've found this cheap as **** discount shop, opened by these Indians, about a mile from my house. It's a canny hike, but good exercise, and the booze is cheap. Today, I bought a big bottle of Russian Standard for 11 quid! Plus a **** load of alki pops for around 5-6 quid. I'm reliving some glory days, when I used to be a real lightweight. Gonna have some strong vodkas, and top myself off with a VHF or two before I go out.
That's the thing though. We can't make a single line up, as well have to rotate so often due to Europe League. If I were to make a strongest possible formation, I'd probably not have Carroll in it, but it's not the same, now we're in Europe. I doubt Cisse and Ba will play in the same game that often. So I know what you're trying to say, and If we weren't in Europe, I wouldn't touch Carroll. But being the position we're in now, we need 3 good strikers. Carroll would be useful, and give us a different type of option.
Fair point. OK, so if we reach the Cup fianl - who would you line up with? What about if it were vs Mackems - surely Carroll, Ba + Cisse would all move down the pecking order behind The Slayer.
Rofl, well, I hate to be a complicated ****, but it would depend who we were against. But If I were to put my stongest line up now - Ba----------Cisse----------HBA -------------Cabaye------------ -------Jonas-------Tiote--------- Santon----Colo----Saylor---Simmo ---------------Krul------------- But we still have signings to come in yet. I really hope we continue with our 4-3-3 style, but it will be hard, as a lot of it depends on HBA's and Cabaye's quality, two players which we can't play in everyone match. We can only play our great, passing style with our best players. So, IMO, we should be prepared to play sexy football one game, and long balls another. Simple as. I remember when we tried to play it vs Spurs away, when we got raped 5-0. Obertan, Perch ect couldn't pass water.
Shola is a beast, but I wouldn't start him in many games tbh. He's far better coming off the bench. He's very useful. He's got fantastic strength and a powerful presence. He doesn't score too much, but he scores at vital times, and assists quite a bit. Plus he's a great morale booster, and very intelligent. Pardew stated that Shola was his favourite player at the club. So, IMO, for what Shola does, he's worth at least his wages, maybe more. But he's humble, and doesn't seem to care about wages. He just seems to want to fight for a place in the starting line up/ Fair play.
Rofl. I aint had my leg over in over a year, so I'm not judging anyone on their sexual habits. I was talking about alcohol.
