looks good and I know Hendo has the tekkers and room to grow but I just can't help thinking that is our weakest point.
I feel Gerrard and Henderson are the weak links as I don't think they are capable of moving the ball around quick enough. Plus I can't see Gerrard pressing the opposition quick enough.
Strange there's talk about Suso & Sterling. What about Teixiera? Surely he'd fit in our new style but absolutely no mention.
reckon teixeira needs a bit of time in the rezzies.. Unfortunately he was injured I think when we bought him, so he didnt get much time for the reserves in the run in....Six months under Borrell and see how he does i think.
Plenty of us have mentioned him but he is just such an unknown bar that game against us. I wasn;t even sure that he had fully signed him until about amonth ago! Dubbed the "new deco" which if true would be incredible but the problem is it is a lot of hype at the moment, as well as if he is this good why did we get him for just a mil?

on the lad, sproting lisbon have money issues, he was not under contract as well. we took big advantage but hey we got pacehco for 500k , suso for half nothing.. i think we paid 500k for sterling too. the biggest fee we paid for a kid was shelvey...
Sorry Bluff, meant the club when I said "no mention" ; not us. I just meant that if Sterling is being told by BR that good enough is old enough, is everyone else in that age group? The fact that unlike some of the others he's not being paraded on the site, interviews etc. Maybe it is just he's not ready yet.

I think he could give Suarez, Gerrard, Borini/Depmsey/Carroll/ new signing some serious ammunition to attack with and play off of. I remember last pre-season he was single handedly changing games and I thought this is going to be a good year for Aqua........ whoops.
