Loyalty! you ARE joking I take it! What utter bollocks, what are you admiring? You swallow to much media rubbish. Harry Redknapp has shown loyalty to himself and little else. He was after the Liverpool job when Hodgson went is THAT Loyalty?
What did he achieve exactly? Spurs were already knocking on the door with Jol before he came. He would have you believe he dragged us up from nowhere with his over hyped 2 points from 8 games. He actually had a worse run than that during his last season. I will give him credit for allowing the players to express themselves and play some good football. For identifying the need for some steel in midfield and employing Parker. He didn't actually WIN anything.
Try listening to the man and his constant ducking and diving. i have not jumped on any band wagon I was complaining about Redknapp from the time he ridiculed Bent to the media. I don't rate Bent at all as it happens but he was playing for Harry at the time. Ask Pavlyuchenko, Gio Dos Santos, Kranjcar, Corluka, ask them if they think he is a good man manager. All have been 'outed' by Harry to his media 'friends' at one time or another.
For a man like Harry Redknapp to lead a club like Spurs is an embarrassment IMO and I would think that even if he HAD won something at Spurs.
What I am proud of are the large number of Spurs fans who see through the media hype and all the bullshit that surrounds him and football in these times. I, like many, love the game of football and the proud traditions of Spurs. What I don't buy is that managers and players necessarily share that feeling. Some do, but many are are quite happy to kiss the badge of the highest bidder.
I have already spent too much time on this subject, but it's not going away because this board is still full of people telling us what a great bloke he was and how lucky we were to have him. I suspect it will drag on some more because Harry will keep on spouting his garbage to the media, and as you should know they just love garbage.
