Aye, just because some of us don't care about a national football team, we're wrong <doh> Again, just because we're born here doesn't mean we have to be all patriotic and support the national team. I have no affinity to this country, I don't feel at home here and never have, why should I feel like I HAVE to support the national team?

****ing hell this is just moronic. You're born in a country, undoubtedly use things it provides like an education and a national health service no doubt, but have no affinity to it? So what you're saying is you're a bit of leech?

It's things like this which make me wonder why I even waste my energy on you. You need to read what I'm saying properly, I never said or implied that England's performances affect my loyalty to it. As long as there's passion there, I can get into it.

If someone is just making a point, and being relaxed when talking to you, don't be a disrespectful bellend back, because even though you might not be called me names, but you're making comments that are disrespectful. If you disagree then fine, you're entitled to do that. Just reply with a bit more respect.

I support England, but It's gotten to the point where I just wonder why I even bother watching the games. I agree to you to an extent, I'm not really a massive England fan, but something always makes me watch England games and makes me want to get behind the team, and it's not just because I like to moan about it. I still feel good inside when I see England score, and feel a bit **** when we concede, but I have to admit that when we were knocked out yesterday, and I personally just didn't care, I tried to care, but I couldn't.

Heck if I stopped supporting teams because they weren't one of the best or didn't win things, I'd not even Acknowledge Newcastle United.

Maybe it's because Euro 2012 isn't really a big thing for me, and I prefer the World Cup. The feeling and the atmosphere around that competition is way better for me, and I find it almost as exciting as the Premier League.

I was up and down the house with emotion when England played Germany in the 2nd round of the World cup. I remember when we should have been back to 2-2 but we got the goal line decision given against us. I felt absolute joy and rage within a few seconds.

I never said the whole team were ****s, and I made the point that young players playing with passion and heart is one of the main reasons I still give a **** about England. But most of them, to me, don't give me the impression that they care that much.
I personally think it's a shame Ox and Carroll get more time. We looked like a much more energetic, dangerous and mentally strong team with them.

I aint a die hard England fan, but I do care.

I challenge you to name one player in the current squad who looked like he didn't care? You name me one and I'll show a liar. You're just the typical modern England fan, lacking of all passion towards your countries endeavours. the rest I'm not really interested in responding to. I said nothing disrespectful, simply called it as I see it. I stand by that.

I'd like to give a ****, but I can't.

England are ****. We've been **** for ages. No passion.

Rooney - Can't pass water, never mind a ball.
Milner + Young - ****. Might as well of played Ox, at least he can beat a man.
Parker - ****ing useless pile of ****.

Stopped giving a **** about England after the 2002 world cup. No passion about the place, no class. Other countries have far more class about them.

What a crock of ****e.

This kind of stupid opinion really gets up my nose - you claim to be football fans, yet you slate the national team because they never win anything? <doh>
What major honours have Newcastle United won in the last 40 years?

That's right, none.

No passion? <doh>

The players did really well from an effort point of view and you cannot question their passion or appetite for playing for their country.
How much 'passion' do you think is created in the players in the Toon squad who come from France or Africa? Do they really care about a team from the north of England?

Kid yourself as much as you like, but I think you'll find that you couldn't be more wrong about many of the England players.

The manager had next to no time to prepare the squad and to be fair he has made some selection errors - but he won't have the excuse of 'no time to prepare' in future, so we can judge him fairly from then on.

So many of you manage to find the 'blind faith' to follow Newcastle United despite the fact we're a million miles from winning anything - yet somehow England are expected to produce and get slated for it when they don't win the Euro's or the World Cup! <laugh>

Have a word with yourselves <ok>

I ain't even going to bother responding to these last two comments in great detail, because I'm sick of this argument.

All I'm saying is - If I didn't care, support or get behind teams for not winning anything or being ****, I wouldn't even bother acknowledging Newcastle United.

This is exactly the reaon why I don't bother posting on certain threads - it's simply not worth it.

But, now I've gone and posted this comment, it means I've just gone and joined in with this one. D'oh! Stupid Obi!

So then why do you have any affinity towards NUFC. Is it because of Newcastle-upon-Tyne itself, located in ENGLAND?

Oooooops, might have just thought yours and Ammys posts were one in the same. <doh><whistle>

Go forth and subtract.

I never understood the logic of maths. I mean, they say 'divide and conquer', but surely you have more chance of conquering if you multiply your army first?
And don't get me started on astro physics.

I used the education system (This is mandatory don't forget, I had no choice) and NHS only because I was born here and can hardly leave home aged 5 can I? <doh> It's ok though, once I have enough money I won't have to 'leech' off this country and I can finally be away from bigots such as yourself.

I have no real reason to follow Newcastle above any other team, I just enjoy watching them more than any other team (apart from Lille).

<laugh> Bigot? in what way? Boo ****ing hoo. This country will be better off without someone who gives no **** about it.

Can you imagine?

Daily Mail: These bloody foreign kids, coming over here, talking our milk money and getting the lollypops from the dentist that were meant to be for good proper ENGLISH children!!! <grr>

Having declared the country's educational system as 'nothing short of a joke' and living through the string of banking scandals that have brought our country to it's knees, this bloke has decided to start a new life abroad.

Bigot - a person who is intolerant of any ideas other than his or her own, esp on religion, politics, or race

Bold = you.

You're a pathetic person Warm Pouch and I'm done with this argument. Bored of your intolerance towards other people's views. <ok>
