If we're going to sign a rapist, I'd rather we went with Ched Evans(then we wouldn't need Wickham either).
Would Bramble be alright in the Championship ?
He's prone to having shockers but dropping down a league might sort that out.

Is Wickham available on loan, if so then he would be a great signing, Bruce signed him from Ipswich so he clearly thinks highly, perhaps one more season in the Championship would do him good and it would be better if he played up top with Fryatt and scored a couple of goals, he's athletic, strong, tall and a good finisher, like a better version of Waghorn
GK - Mannone - Then anyone to provide good back up why not bring Trevor Carson back?
CB - Anthony Gerrard or Steve Cook from Bournemouth
DM - Michael Bostwick - Wouldn't cost much a younger, goalscoring version of Paul Mckenna.
CM - Paul Green - For more goals from midfield but Bostwick would bring that.
AM/ST - Dobbie - Has done well on loan at Blackpool every time he has being there.
LW/RW - Josh King/Mackie - Mackie depends on who QPR get i see them spending a lot of money so might be a possibility and King showed potential.
ST - Billy Sharp - Will he play that much for Southampton? Other than that i am not really sure.

I'd say you're walking a very fine line with regards to libel right there. I guess not quoting the other post may be your saving grace.
You'd like to think Steve Bruce, as a proven good manager, would recognise there is hardly a need to change a defensive line-up that was second meanest in the league last season.
You'd hope he would recognise, if it aint broke why mess around with it? We should sign a quality CB from the Prem who is looking to recover fitness or who has been forced out, on loan for 6 months.
That being said I would be very pleased to see Ant Gerrard come back on a permanent.

Neither are this summer it appears. MT would be perfect for us in season 2013/14 back in the PL. Leave Turner where he is for now. We can collect him next summer.
With Gary Walsh as GK coach i would expect the 2 keepers that Nick wanted to be here by pre-season.
Kilgallon and Rhodes no chance But i would expect Josh King to back for another full season. imo.

Oliver Norwood is the perfect long term replacement for McKenna who i expect to be named Capt. by SB.

Well Barnsley have today confirmed the signing of Kelvin Etuhu on a free transfer from Man City. So getting Folan would not surprise be at all. Then again his old Colorado manager might want him @ Stevenage.
Josh King i fully expect to see back at Hull City on a seasons loan at least. Robbie Brady will be assessed by SAF in pre-season and may end up as a PL loan somewhere. (ie.Wigan)
100% agree with this. Koren is by far the best at what he does in the championship. imo. Always build around your best. I also think that Bruce is just looking for 4 players to make up the starting 11.
You share my own thoughts on who we should get. I would though have gone for Fuller over Heskey if it were down to me and i also think £1.5m might just get Robert Snodgrass out of TWS. Strike quick if SB can on this one.
Agreed. Heskey is the perfect foil (muscle wise) for Fryatt. You only have to read what Owen and Rooney thought about Heskey. He would be more than good enough in the championship. Looks like Bruce has got him if my info is correct today.?
Yes and he would be my choice as he scores goals. But i do question his attituide towards team mates at times. West Ham away for starters a few years ago ?
No chance what-so-ever. It appears that Bruce has been told to do what he has to do to get us to the PL and no budget set. That said, i dont see him blowing a big amount on one player. Speculation that Rhodes will go to Fulham as a replace for Clint Dempsey.

for starters and they would not cost the club that much. So who would be against those then ?
I took that with a pinch of salt though, if Barmby had remained in charge he said Oli and Ghilas would be leaving in the summer. When he said it I felt it was much a decision from upstairs as his. He seemed to flip flop on Oli especially as just a few weeks before he was saying he'd be back in the fold.
