Yeah that was him. He set up the first goal with a very nice free kick and I've been impressed by him before. I reckon he's not signed a new deal because he knows he can do better than League 1, rather than because they don't want him.
You just replaced the wrong half of the link. Make sure you dont change the bit inside the URL tags. That's the actual link. Change the other half to edit what comes up.
Sounds like he'd be worth a punt, but with only five subs I'm not sure it'd be worth getting a CM - I said the same with Paul Green, as it'd be harsh to drop Evans, McKenna or Cairney from the matchday squad entirely. That said, with a new set of eyes coming in and an extreme lack of wingers, we may change to a 4-1-2-1-2 or 4-3-1-2, so we'd need more CMs.
I dont think we will be coming in again for Chester or Stewart. We are meant to be signing Luke Chambers from Forest and Larnell Cole from Man U instead along with Ritchie De Laet and Matt James from Man U
Thats the question. Hence why the manager needs sorting one way or another. I hate to say it and hope its indeed not true BUT IF Nick did have the big money needed for a striker available and rejected it in Jan then he can have no complaints. On a short term deal and to get this club back in the big time it was a No Brainer for everyone. But Until such time as Nick can defend himself we shall not know 100% for sure. Its far too early for player unrest but i can understand there worries. If i were them i would simply go away on holiday and forget whats going on here. Worry about it when they get back home. I remember the days of problems at work years ago and going on holiday. As i left the office to start my hols i worried for 10 mins what would happen at work whilst i was away ? The next time i worried was as i walked back into the office on my return. The answer being why waste your holiday time on matters that you cannot control. But if the Correct appointment is Not made then i can see a mass exodus for sure. Who could blame them. With Adam Clayton being releaased from TWS he would be a good signing on a Free,, but i hear he has a bad attitude hence why Colin has let him go.[/QUOTE] Just to clarify, Adam Clayton has not been released, he is on the transfer list and has 1 more year left on his contract. So he's not available on a free. He may well still sign a contract yet.....
You do realise all the players are on holiday and have no idea if anyone's bid for them or not? He'll be about as disrupted as an undisrupted thing on a quiet day.
Dont think players arent aware of what is happening. Their agents arent on hoilday and there is such things as internet and telephones
anyway let's remember the Allems will be looking to have a semblence of respect in the fans' eyes after the Barmby situation - so can see them being more determined telling certain clubs and managers where to stick their offers. and if there is any evidence of anyone tapping up, can see the Allems really kicking off with the club involved and demanding action from the FA/Football league including transfer ban on that club
Well IF Osborne is from the same mould as Turner he would be a snip on a free. Sadly i would expect Charlton and Chris Powell to be his No.1 choice now. Now that Nick has gone would he even be a target for Hull City anymore. ? New manager with New ideas may I suggest ?
