as long as we get a new manager, who we can all get behind hopefully, asap. plus a replacement for Adam asap so we're not left behind in the transfer window. have a feeling we'll be getting Appleton (worked well with limited resources and is former Man Utd player to keep the link with Joyce)
Not sure how you define "Good" but that is not the adjective that would immediately spring to mind in connection with this afternoons press statement.
Someone I know who works for the Tigers hasn't heard that NB has been sacked. Is it possible that the press conference is to announce something else?
I'm glad i found this forum it seems you get the news first, ive had a few texts saying hes gone off people. A disgrace if you ask me, I hope people take with pinch of salt whatever nonsense is spoken at this statement, how this can be good for the club and keep the players happy I don't know.
its amazing what people will do for money. look at Chelski and their track record of hire'n'fire, or Leicester for that matter. it doesn't stop them queuing up for the jobs. there are more wanna be managers out there than there are jobs so its a buyers (employers) market.
The timing of these just arrived at Tiger Leisure http://www.tigerleisure.com/shop/product/8/new-arrivals/3990/barmby-army-mug.aspx
Jesus- maybe they might sell a few anyway , it would be worse if they put the Allams on the mugs even though thats what they are (mugs)
Can't be anything other than bad. It's done now though. The players will all be unsettled and despite the bs I've heard from the Egyptians about not selling expect our better lads to go. Maybe Brownie will come back as that's how people with more money than sense think, that he will get the fans on their side.
and in two months we will have forgotten all about it. everything will change with results. THE TRENCH FICKLER is a good summary for of us football fans. Fickle Fickle Fickle
I think it's terrible. I want my club to behave in a proper and honourable manner. This 'aint it! It sends a terrible message to any potential manager coming in and therefore could affect the quality of Nick's replacement. The players aren't going to be happy because they will have seen progress under Nick.
Whatever the rights and wrongs (if we ever really get it fully explained) I think it's a damned shame that someone like Nick should part company with the club in this way. It's so sad!
six months thats all, we,ve had managers for longer periods who never had this hysteria, the club still goes on just different man in charge and who ever it is will be gone in two or three years, get behind the club not individuals
