Here we go again ? Rumour and speculation again without anything Official. More like hoping he has been sacked to save the Hull media blushes.
I have just received a text saying he has gone too, announcement later, so it looks like it may be true.
Blunderside have their faults but to have said this on twitter surely is more than a rumour, although they seem to have covered themselves.
Was that from the Allams or Nick himself by chance.? Sorry, but I shall wait for the official news. IF true God help us. League One looms.
Don't be such a drama queen. I'll be as gutted as anyone if this turns out to be true, but to say League One looms is ridiculous.
States Allam's PR company to release statement this afternoon. This had better be good, they will have to have their best spin doctors on this one, can't wait to see what it says. Lets hope Nick gets to have his say, whatever has happened, whatever he has supposedly done or however he has behaved it is an extremely shabby way to treat someone and must surely act as a warning to any other manager coming in. OK to sack a manager for not getting results, always happens but I don't think that is the case, even his critics would surely give him a full season. Heaven help us now, just wonder who the hell they will bring in.
If we keep all our players (which I understand is not a certainty) then I think other managers are at least capable of keeping us in the division.
I'm with you, I just don't see why anyone would want to come and work for them if this is how it's going to be. As for keeping our players, who wants to stay here for some long ball merchant? These players were here for NP originally and we got lucky that we had another popular figure in Barmby to take over when he left but now it's going to be someone completely different.
Nothing to do with being a drama queen. The fallout from Nicks sacking could set us back years. I just dont see any of the possible managers available being of the required standard to keep our young guns happy ?
Agreed. By sacking Nick (and on what grounds has he been sacked more to the point ?) the Allams have proven to us all they know nothing about football. Nick took over and overall did much better than any of us dare hope for,. How many managers have said they want money to spend FFS ? From what is Known the Allams cannot sack Nick but Nick may have resigned which is completely different. Whatever, can we just have the truth please everyone.
