I heard Barmby got upset when the Allams told him they were selling out to Bates. I can understand that!
If the Allams walk we have no owner and it will be a fiasco to find a passionate one with the club at heart, but personally you can't let a passionate manager like Nick take a walk for doing nothing wrong
I've just explained to my nine year old son that Barmby has been suspended. He asked why. I told him. He just looked puzzled and said. " That Allem bloke needs to grow up " From a nine year old. Enough said.
Well I was warned about this a good few weeks ago from Danny Pratt. I don't think I am betraying any confidences now. He was made redundant at Xmas and when I bumped into him in March he was still owed redundancy money and salary by City. He told me that both Nick and Adam would be leaving as they were really unhappy. Adam was going to leave when his contract was up in November.
Anyone hear the clown on sportstalk who was saying Barmby has effectively talked himself out of a job, and he's right to be sacked/suspended? Not sure I concur with people on the radio saying that they won't go to city again, we stick to the club through thick and thin.
I agree its frustrating, clearly. However is throwing money at it the answer? We are losing 7M a year, i for one will support the decision not to spend. The biggest loss is Adam Pearson if thats true.
Total unanimous disgust amongst the fans it seems. Had loads of texts from my mates who are gob smacked.
That would be a dream lol, so Hull city for league 1 maybe if they are as skint as has been suggested !! with the new rules coming in as well looks like the allams will jump ship !!!
When Sven went you was all over our board. Im not wumming just offering a hindsight. If you dont want to read what i put thats up to you
Not if the reason the Allams are upping sticks is because they know they can't help the club progress because the Council won't sell the stadium. Thanks to us not owning any assets any work done on the stadium would be an immediate expense instead of one spread out over 50 years. There's no suggestion at this point in time that it's illegal. To take it elsewhere, I'm pretty sure all my contracts have included clauses about not revealing information or making comments which are to the detriment of the business's business, and I'm aware of several people who've lost jobs for making public comments about workmates or bosses. The manager of a football club continually questionning the owners support, talking about transfer targets (not denying Tomlin?), or some other thing we haven't picked up on could all fall under that. EDIT: Just to be clear, as I said earlier, if the reason is because he was talking about wanting to sign players then it's ridiculous and I don't agree with it. Until we find out reasons though I'm not going to jump on the Allam's backs over it. If everyone was siding with them against Barmby I'd be taking the opposite view of things on here.
I ve mentioned this before, but are Hull City actually debt free? Have we just moved the debt from Investec (et al) to Allam Marine
