Did anyone here actually enjoy their first drink of whiskey?

I'm trying to get into it but every whiskey I've tried makes me gag. Not necessarily the taste, just the overwhelming power of it.

 

Same Tash - can't stand the stuff, can't get past the aroma let alone the taste. Just having it near my face makes me gag. I'll stick to the
