    OK Tash here we go....

Basically your body will get more and more used to alcohol, which is classes as a poison so eventually it will take you shed loads to get pissed (think beer belly) unless.... you drink in moderation or indeed switch to other drinks. If say.... you had the odd glass of booze during the week and then got hammered on a Saturday you will kind of stay at a level.

Another impact on how quickly you get pissed is food.
If you skimp on the food you will get pissed quicker but if you drink after a big meal you may not feel much of an effect.

    Hope this helps! :)

Do you reckon if I lay off the booze for a few weeks my body will lower it's defenses against the alcohol so to say, and I will turn back into a lightweight?

Also, not eating doesn't get me tipsy quicker, it just makes me feel sick when drinking alcohol. I always have something to eat before drinking.

I think ti's because recently I've just drank it more frequently.

If you lay off the booze you may turn bak into a lightweight mind. Your shields will have dropped. (I'm a Trekkie)

That's what I would like though.

Being a lightweight is great. You can get tipsy of a couple of drinks and not feel ill for having to drink that much lol.

I love the buzzing feeling I used to get and also how your vision takes a little bit longer to sync rofl.

Now I don't get that from the same amount and I don't want to have to drink a lot to get tipsy because It makes me sick If I do.

Unfortunately, Coloccini bet when we were in the Championship that if we got CL, he'd shave is hair off...

I DON'T WANT CL NOW...

Pure class. He makes it look so easy, but just imagine how far it would have bounced off Andy Carroll's shin if he'd tried the same thing.

Or maybe he would have guided the ball down beautifully, beat the keeper and then fallen over?

Getting excited and nervous about the Wigan match already. I never anticipated we'd be fighting for a place in the CL but it's actually happening. Even up until last Friday I was totally dismissive of CL chances, but with the other contenders all having mixed results in recent, we're becoming real contenders. Now, I don't class myself as deluded at all, but this is real. We have every change of making it - albeit we have some VERY difficult games left. And we We might not come this close again for a long time.

    HOWAY THE LADS!

    Hi Guys,

LFC fan in peace. this is non-wum, non wind up, etc...

I had won 2 tickets for the wife to go and see a concert on Thursday night in a competition and we can't go (Reasons being the distance form where I live). The tickets are for New Kids on the block & Backstreet boys at The Metro Radio Arena. If anyone here wants them (free of charge) you can phone up the ticket office, change the name on the tickets (currently mine, Justin Boswick-Pagani) and collect them. As I said, I don't want anything for them, They'd make a nice present for someones wife, girlfriend, etc and i'd rather they were used then wasted.

I won't be taking up the offer but that's very generous and considerate of you Bozz. I'm sure Tash would like that kind of thing. ACS might if he wasn't on holiday.
