MOTD flattered us alot, we hardly had the ball in the 1st half while they were constantly threatening and that never came across on MOTD.
Yeah , i just re watched on Foxtel and we didnt look to bad at all. Looked like we put up a good game...on TV!!

SWP had a cracking snap volley saved at point blank range by a deflection yesterday. It was heading in, no question, Foster wouldn't have got it. I didn't think the little fella was as bad yesterday as you are all making him out to be. Zamora, by contrast, was poor, apart from a couple of fair efforts in the first half( which were down the other end of the ground from me anyway, so may not have been that good)
I was also really pi**ed with Traore right at the end. He let a ball run out, there wasn't long left but long enough...and what does he do? Smashed the ball 20 rows into the crowd giving West Brom plenty more time to waste. He needs to mature big time.....
Go Peter!! WOW!!
All the points I wasn't eloquent enough to make!
i have watched the game twice in full and i said it at the time we are honestly not that bad in fact its looking very very good... the fickle are better off just looking at the result ... we lost live with it however we can at last play again and look a lot more dangerous than anyone in the bottom 10 ... hence we can and will raise our gameYeah , i just re watched on Foxtel and we didnt look to bad at all. You tell 'em Stanley![]()
Taarabt was poor today, yes, but in recent weeks he has worked hard to change his style and has worked hard to defend with the rest of the team. Recently he has perfomed very well and has been at the centre of our attacking moves. However, today nothing went for him and taking him off was the right call.
We all know what SWP offers to the team - NOTHING. So why Hughes brought him on I will never know.
But for me the biggest mistake was dropping Buzsaky. After a great performance and goal v Swansea he should have started - and may have provided us with a bit more flair, alongside the graft in the middle of the park.
It makes no sense at all, is it impossible for a manager to get it right one game and get it wrong the next game?
All this coming from someone who never even saw the game.
As for people not saying they want Buz in
http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/137136-Fitting-Derry-Back-in
me:
"I hope we keep Buz in the team, Derry is not better and Buz can always get a goal out of nothing from a long shot or set piece." Exactly what they did, a goal out of nothing.
"We have them in Barton and Diakite. If we play a 451, we must not have 3 defensive midfielders and Buzs tackling is very underrated."
I called it before the game, its not hindsight.
The proof that he got it wrong is how much better we looked in the 2nd half with a different formation and the fact that he took Derry off.
Ok..here goes again..i just posted something completely opposite on another site..
Last year: Adel was a big fish in a small pond. I won the league for us purely because he had Faurlin and derry to support him, cover up his mistakes and allow him to play as he did.
He is not our best player by a mile. Cisse, Faurs, Diakite and even the new JB would be above him on that. you could also include Hill.
He is skillfull, but so are loads of other players. He reminds me of a poor mans dennis bergkamp. He doesnt have the mental strength to succeed at this level (at the moment) Paul scholes and Rooney are grest players and they turn up and deliver 95% of the season.every season. What percentage of the season has Tarbs been good? 10% at the most...maybe. that aint enough to be in the prem. the Championship is filled to the brim with players that can have a great game every other month.
He's been given every excuse under the sun...Warnock, captaincy, wrong country, wrong colour boots blah blah blah..fact is...He just simply hasnt done it.
I'm sure he'll be great next year in the championship
His stats are shocking, his goals scored are shocking and his attitude aint the best./
He did bring a lot of this on himself with the public move to PSG etc..
Also..Barton get booed off the other week and has responed positively..what do you think Adel would do if he had that treatment..run away i'd guess.
I agree he has talent, but so does the bloke down the locl park......Its the other side of his game that is very much lacking and I'm not sure he can get it sorted.
this season for Tarbs (and many others) has to be considered a failure for him. very little positives except experience....
Hopefully with MH behind him he can get better, but, i fear if e go down he will be gone anyway...maybe there was a reason he was wasting away in the Tottenham reserve team after all...?
I just wish the real Tarbs could turn up once in a while...........before we sell him !
Passion for QPR counts as much as eloquence on this forum Swords, and despite being a bit of an arse, you have never been lacking there. Peter Damage’s post was damn good though, I hope you consider yourself well and truly told. By the way mate, where do you stand on the Derry in for Buz argument?
Sitting in a hotel room in Kobe, Japan heavily jet lagged. Only found out the result a couple of hours ago. The response on here has been as predictable as ever. Stunningly short memories - MH wrong according to all the armchair managers, despite being a genius 3 days ago. Zamora crap, despite one of the best CF performances I have seen in recent years v Gooners. Buz should have played instead of Derry, despite nearly everyone wanting Derry back after Swansea. Tarbs is either too essential ever to sub ( though he was very frequently last season) or unpickable. Sometimes i think that some posters must have been gene spliced with goldfish.
I haven't seen any of the game, so I'm going to take Justin's perspective as its the one I like best. This was never on my must win list, the home games and Chelsea away will do it for us.
