These 'new fans' make me laugh!

You should have seen us under Dolan or Hately!

We are ninth in the league and although we won't make the play-offs, we are only 5 points from them. It's not been such a bad season has it surely?

    Fair comment

I think Barmby needs to be careful though. He may be wanting to develop a siege mentality, but his comments on Humberside yesterday seemed to put the fans on the outside. That can never work.

I'm not Burnsey's biggest fan, but his comments to him were completely unacceptable. Belittling him for asking questions moat followers of Hull City have been asking was just wrong. Just because someone hasn't had the fortune to play professional football, doesn't mean there opinions or.questions.are.automatically invalid.

I doubt anyone wants to see Barmby out really, but judging by the comments across the majority of City boards, its fair to say Barmby's honeymoon is definitely at an end.

There's more to management than having a vision of a way to play.

you cannot judge everything on the fact we where once 92nd in the football league, things change and evolve..if man united dont win the premiership this year, i bet there not grateful they werent relegated like in the seventies..
i get where people are coming from, but i think even hateley knew passing it along the back for all game is no good, even tho thats probably about all he knew <laugh>

Actually I started going in the Dolan days when I was 2-3 year olds, I may not have understood what was going on, but I was there all the same.

The same type as the many who spoke with their feet as Coventry's second went in yesterday.

You could have probably bought Aaron himself for that amount.

And we are two points ahead of them. Where would you rather be ? Are Leicester not doubly ****ed ?

If they continue their current form until the end of the season, they'll finish on 66 points, if we continue our current form until the end of the season, we'll finish on 63 points.

So no, they're not doubly ****ed, they're probably going to finish above us.

You have to qualify that by specifying the period of games. 6? 8? 10?

Over 40 games of form we'll still finish above them. Also taking one game.

That was the worst performance I've seen from any side this season.

McKenna looked absolutely ****ed; Cooper showed us exactly why a kid centre-back deemed not good enough for two, count them, TWO League One teams shouldn't be starting for the side who supposedly have the best defence in the Championship; Stewart was abysmal from start-to-finish (and Brady wasn't much better, the greedy ****ing Paddy ****); Dawson looked slow and tired AGAIN; Evans' passing was some of the worst I've ever seen from a central-midfield player at this level... All awful. Throw in an atmosphereless, 1/3 empty stadium and the manager - who's "one of our own", remember - insulting us for not being as blinkered and deluded as him, and you have the perfect recipe for the worst game I've seen in some time.

And it was STILL much much better than Portsmouth away in Tuesday, that's testament to how dire we really were, it was sickening. The thing that disappoints me the most is we came out and practically did it again, although I guess we actually managed to touch the ball yesterday. That in itself is a huge improvement.

The form table used to be six games, but it's now almost always based on the last eight games, so that's what I used.

Based on our recent performances, I'm not sure we'll even finish in the top half, never mind finish above Leicester.

I don't actually give a **** if we finish above them or not, I've got £100 riding on us finishing above Leeds, but outside of that I don't really care where we finish now, though the further we drop, the harder it will be for us to attract new additions.

Considering our last eleven games,i can't really understand how anyone is finding it difficult to pass us in the league. Especially, the big clubs like,Leicester and Leeds !

Why is it becoming cool for managers to get all bitchy after games now? I thought it was just an NP thing at first but now they're all at it. Interviewers can't ask a simple question to any manager now without being swiped back at. Did anyone hear the Grimsby gaffer yesterday? It was probably worse than Barmby.

From what I saw it is more he is proud of the young lads Cooper and Bradley for being thrown in at the deep end but then he has to say that really or we will have two Sonkos in defence until the end of the season

well said. we dont need to spend millions. there is plenty of quality out of contract this summer. thats the market hull city will work in mianly,, imo. Look at Man City, Leicester and West Ham for example. Spent millions and yet will end up with nothing it seams now. Patience needed But alas its something that the modern day football fan NoLonger has anymore. Overall this has been a great season and better than anyone could have hoped for back in August.. whatever happens from here on in.
