I'm not leaving, just waiting til next season to appear at a game again, every home games like an away game for me and costs a lot of money and takes a lot of time, which is unjustified when we're served up with that bullsht. Don't get me wrong if I lived in Hull I'd still be there as I have a season ticket.
Absolutely, every word spot on. But a shame, I really wanted Barmby to work out. I still do. But I'm a worried man now.
That's the bit that scares me. Three bad appointments in a row (no matter your opinion on NP, he never wanted to be here), what makes us think the next appointments gonna be any better?
The jury is still out on Nicky for now so you can't really say it's three bad appointments until it does get out of hand, but you are right that the next man in (if there is one) needs to be the best possible person for us. Adam Pearson might not be here when that happens anyway so you won't have him to blame next time probably!
Finally someone says it. If Nigel had talked to Burnsy like that we'd have had shedloads on here complaining about him being rude, boring, defensive and disrespectful towards the fans - as indeed we did have when he did that. Why is it some of our fans have one rule for one just cos Nick is from Hull?
I agree that, he's been awful all season and how he gets in he team is beyond me. He plays only for himself, not the team, and would be delighted if he scored a hat-trick and we lost 3-15. It's like he is living off the performance against Liverpool pre-season. I sincerely hope we dont get him for next season.
Ive been going for over 40 yrs and this season its the first time ive felt we are not going to score in any game--even in relegation seasons we did try-how NB can stick by the players after that sh*** suprises everyone Im sorry to admit at present that I am a HULL CITY SUPPORTER I will not renew my pass as long as NB states that was a good performance and any other when we under perform
Very harsh. I think you've got that opinion because he's one of these young, tricky types of players so you think he must be arrogant. He runs around for the team as much as anyone else and he's got some real talent, I just think the team don't help him out enough. He doesn't see enough of the ball (nor does King) and when he does he puts a good ball in but no bugger actually bothers about attacking it.
I said that to 1904 during the game, we had our best chances of the game when the wingers go a bit of space and put a ball in the box, the best chance of the first half was the Fryatt one when McLean hit it across goal, and the best of the second half was probably when McLean shinned a Stewart? cross into row Z with no ****er around him!
No, I say that because the attempts he tries at goal suggest he thinks he is Roy of the Rovers. This isnt a kickabout in the park where you try to look good in front of watching men with dogs and passing schoolgirls, this is a serious business. If a player is in a better position you pass, you dont try and beat 10 men and smash it in from 35 yards.
After the second goal, it appeared Barmby had a 'word' with someone from the crowd. He turned around and made a 'can you do any better ?' gesture.
I agree with both of you, we do not have enough men in the box you can't deny that. It is even worse when Fryatt goes deep for the ball as we literally have no-one in there. My criticism for Brady was just for his game only, he is a good player with potential i just didn't think it worked for him today.
I will always renew my pass but it's becoming dreadfull to watch. It was obvious from the start we wouldn't score a goal. We've got 38 this season, at this rate we won't get anywhere near last seasons poor 52.
That's ridiculous. I thought we were even worse last season but clearly not. To have brought in new players last summer and still scored no more than last season is just ****ed up. That was the obvious problem that needed sorting out.
^ this hits it perfectly for me. we play a 4-5-1 formation and have brady, king and stewart available, all of whom can pull a trick, beat a man and put in a ball yet to fit into the neat triangle passing methodology NB seems set on (to the point of obsession) they drop inside and so deep to pick up the ball they become extra midfielders clogging up the centre of the pitch. stewart was just awful today and offered nothing, no idea why brady came off before him. defining example of why NB needs to take a look at the way we play was their 2nd goal. we should have been chasing the game, proper kitchen sink attacking time yet mclean and fryatt are tackling each other on the centre spot as part of a patient build up. silver lining from today, I thought cooper and bradley both looked bright, strong and decent on the ball.
I'm predicting 62 points, and worse finish than last year. It's clear to me that Nigel Pearson did a better job than what NB's doing. Then Nigel was described as a 'proper' manager by AP. Either Nick works out how to perform like a proper manager or I hope AP / Mr Allam get someone qualified to take the club forwards not backwards as the current results would indicate.
Top post. Putting Matty to the wing to accommodate Cullen drove me fukin mental. I would rather he took Matty off but to me he insulted him by moving to left mid. Spoke to a few people in pub afterwards and a couple told me they arent renewing their season pass. I was shocked as they arent fair weather types.
