It's going to be a quiet news week so thought we could start this early.

Blackpool v Southampton
17:25 Saturday 31st March 2012. Live on TV tragically BBC2 though.

Last game: SOUTHAMPTON 2 - 0 v Doncaster, A great double strike from Billy keeps us 5 points clear at the top.

Predicted Team:
Davis
Richardson, Fonte, Hooiveld, Fox,
Cork, Hammond, Schneiderlin, Lallana
Sharp, Lambert

Subs:
Martin, Hammond, De Ridder (Chung if fit), Harding, Chappers.

Prediction:
SOUTHAMPTON 2 - 1
Lambert, Sharp,

By kick-off we will know the West Ham Reading result and a result against Holloway's tangerine army would put us in a pretty formidable position with only 6 matches left. Blackpool will prove a huge threat though with the two Phillips Matt and Kevin both in form. I can see Blackpool scoring but I'm going for a 2 - 1 to Saints with Billy scoring again to clinch a vital win!

Just to remind you doing a match thread early does not guarantee that it will be used as an official match thread with a sticky added to it!! For Saturday matches it was agreed that match day threads would not be stickied until Wed at the earliest Tuesday or Wed matches Earliest would be the Sunday. Last but not least Friday matches earliest post would be a Monday. We want as many people as possible to be involved with the match day thread articles so it is likely that someones elses may be used if yours was the last stickied.

Hammond is that good you want him
Playing on the bench and in the starting 11! I think team will stay as per Saturday, maybe Fraser might come in although I though butterfield did well, he has played 3 times this season and we kept 3 clean sheets, I also think Guly might come back in for De ridder on the right. No way he can drop Billy after Saturday!

I don't think Butters had a good game at all, his passing was terrible although yes, he did contribute to a clean sheet. I'll be very happy to see Frazer back - was he injured over the weekend or was it tactical? His passing is a lot better and is more valuable when you look at the number of assists he has.

We are fortunate that any result between Reading and West Ham could suit us. For auto a Reading win. For the title a WHU win. For breathing space a draw. We are in better form than Blackpool but they are a good side at home who score a lot of goals. This one could be a draw, but for form's sake I will go for Saints 2.1.

Kingsland Kate,

Richardson had a few niggles, and with Butterfield back fit after another injury it gave Adkins the oppurtunity to give Richardson time to recover

I swear these threads are getting earlier and earlier, I've given up making them now as someone seems to be making them at least 1-2 days before agreed every time now.

No worries Beddy. Just an opportunity to get an early debate going.
