There is no one with whom I would rather go over the top. After all, he has had sooo much practise....
Have sat with various bits of paper at work trying to sort out best scenario (they actually thought I was drawing up layout plans!). As WHU won yesterday, it would be best if Reading win as we would then be 6 points (if we lost), 7 points (if we draw) or 9 points (if we win) above third with only 6 games to go. Even if we lost, we would have to lose a further 3 games to finish outside auto. If someone could arrange that, I would be ever so grateful.
Guly will play if fit. 2-1 Blackpool unfortunately, Evatt from a corner and Thomas Ince for them; Lallana with a scrappy consolation.
Last time we were on BBC against Pompey, I scared the crap out of my dog (see the one on the right in my avatar) as she was on my lap as Lambert scored! Dogs just don't understand the passion of footie......!
My niece, who is just a little short of two years old, enjoys watching games with me...but she's not allowed to sit on my lap while watching for that reason. I'm afraid that I'd leap up and send her flying, or catch her with an elbow.
Haha...a reading win is a good result for our promotion chances, but that top of the league benefits better with a draw. The good news is that points will be dropped, so any result is positive.
Doubt we'll be crap. You can't win every game, but I'm sure Saints will have a good go at it. I'm sure we will get the points we need by the end of the season, but the earlier the better as far as I'm concerned.
I wouldn't be so sure, we can play pretty well when push comes to shove. I still reckon we'll win, though I have been known to be fatally wrong before.
When Saints played Pompey in the cup the other year my greyhound got the shock of his life when we scored. Thought it was playtime and was bouncing around the room on and off the sofa like mad. In the game earlier this season I was holding my then 4 month old daughter in my arms and when we scored she got a shock and that started the crying. Doh. Good job I was home alone with her I never let go of the trophy though. Safe pair of hands me Hope they do play well though. Was really bigging them up to my Sporting Lisbon supporting brother in law before the reading game and the Leicester game. A little embarrassing to then see the Saints outplayed and dominated in those 2 matches after all my spiel made me look silly. Can't be as bad as 'boring boring Barca' though. lol
Hate us playing on TV, is it me or do we always play worse... maybe this will be a rarity, a win and a good performance on tv!
