Blackpool clearly knock the ball about well, and it will be interesting to see how holloway approaches this game. Hopefullly it will be gung ho! Think we can win this. There is a real intensity about Saints at the moment, whether we win well or not so well, and I don't see that bit between the teeth falling out yet!

    3-1 Saints.

I can see this being one of our toughest games in the run in so i will go for 1-1, lambert pen.

I think a draw would be a decent result, with West Ham playing Reading points are going to be dropped. If we can keep the unbeaten run going I'll be happy.

Glad its on BBC...dont have sky sports so i wont have to rely on a dodgy link or go to a pub in dublin where they look at you like you have two heads if you ask to put the game on!!This game has goals written all over it so with that in mind it will definitely be a nil all draw!!

Saints going for a 5th win in a row which has not been done since the end of last season.

Hopefully Lambert would have shaken off his injury. I think it's fair to say that Bart cost us the points in the home game. It's a tricky place to go but confident we can edge it.

Agree we should nick it. One game at a time. It's in or hands which is the most you can ever wish for.

Saints should win it, but any result is possible and that is why football is so interesting. The problem is dealing with a defeat...is it the first of many and we are doomed or is it the only defeat we will have in next seven matches. Even though we will still be top, I'd rather not have to think about that one.

Morning Fran. You're making me twitchy now. I need to go and listen to a Nigel positive thinking class to calm my nerves!

This I the one game I have down as a defeat in the run in. Saturday night we'll be 3 points clear of west ham or 2 clear of reading. This is the worst case scenario. If they draw witll be 5 and 4 points clear respectively.

Looking forward to watching the NegHeads on here panic come Saturday night.

FLT I'm more worried about the Pompeey game. They seem to have raised their game and I can see tackles flying in everywhere. Last thing we need now is some injuries or bans!

I am glad I am not in the trenches with some of you lot. I can hear your knees knocking. I have absolute faith in Nigel and the players who will focus on one game at a time. Rickie will fire them up as he sees this as his chance to play in the premier league and he doesn't want to fail at the final run in.

Right then stiifen you backs, fix bayonets we are going over the top and we shall be top.

I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Nigel, Nicola, and the Saints!'

Don't worry about that, we'll beat them comfortably. Blackpool is our only defeat in my mind. That isn't negative thinking, it's positive. Wins against Pompey, Palace, Posh and Coventry will take us up, plus a draw against Boro and Reading.

My prediction: Blackpool score early, you lot do your best French Army impression.

Then saints win in the second half.

2-2 draw, and West Ham and Reading split the points as well. The table remains as it was, only with more unnecessary panicking.

West Ham v Reading could be quite a tasty encounter, Christopher Foy the Referee, a good combination for a few Red Cards with a bit of luck!

i can see this game being the games where are most likely to drop points. We have not won 5 on trot all season so i for that reason i think we'll drop points. I'd also rather drop points here then next week! My team would be.
    Davis
    Frazier Jose Jos Fox
    De Ridder Cork Morgan Lallana
    Lambert Sharp
Subs: Bart Martin Harding Hammond Lee/Barnard Chaplow
Guly not great away from home so wouldn't play him. Chaplow not been great since returning and De Ridder's pace could be needed if we play on the break at times. Would like to Falque get some action before the end of the season as he seems to be doing well the U21's but can't see it happening this week or next week.
My prediction 2-2. Lambert and Sharp. Would prefer a draw is it means we remain unbeaten and keeps the momentum going for the derby next week.
