Over on the Gooners' board, I noticed that Arsenal87 (he that possesses a mere 87 brain-cells) called our own King Hotspur a douche. I have heard the expression douche-bag, but I don't actually know what one is. I doubt that it is something pleasant. Anyway, it would seem that all those over in the Gooner camp are patting one another on the back about their dire two-leg performance against a very tired AC Milan side. They seem to think that coming back to 3-0 made it a close tie, conveniently omitting the fact that Milan already saw the game as won and switched off for that first half. Their expulsion from the tournament was, in the end, inevitable. Still, I do find it amusing that all of the cracks in the Gooner camp appear to have been papered over, even though they have probably played their last game of CL footy for quite some time, now.
I see from SSN, that Whinger has been charged with improper conduct by UEFA, for his comments about the Referee. First time that's happened since...oh..last season.
They'll probably have to give him his water bottle back so he can go back to,taking it out on that, instead of the officials!
I see, from an interview printed in The Telegraph, that the tosser with a few Z's in his name, who tries to keep goal for the Goons ( he must feel like Davy Crockett at The Alamo with that bunch of clowns in front of him) says that the Goons and The Chavs are going to consign us to The Europa League for next year. As he also seems to feel that Europe now knows that The Goons are a force o be reckoned with, I won't take him too seriously!
The Davy Crockett analogy popped into my head too when I read the same article on the beeb webby just now.
Portugal may have inflicted Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo on us, but Sporting Lisbon did give us all a reason to be cheerful...
Charlie Adam is utter ****. Would get my vote if the premier league had the Golden Bin award like they do in Italy. Always tries the Hollywood pass and always fails. Also he puts in some shocking tackles.
we were ging to buy him last january aswell..and he did look good for Blackpool but i have hardly come across such a dirty thug..commits blatant fouls and crocked Bale last year too...
Ian Holloway bigged him up in the media constantly and therefore got about 10 times his £1m value . Clever work from Holloway and obviously kenny has no idea
I know it's not really 'Rival Watch' but the bottom 3 as it stands is probably the situation I most want. QPR - they screwed Warnock over - irony to see them go now Wolves - wouldn't be too sorry to see our bogey team go. Plus I felt sorry for Mick so it'd be poetic justice if they went. Wigan - I like Martinez but they're getting annoying now. For the past 3 seasons now it's been like this. EDIT - if Bolton went I wouldn't be too sad either Ideal 3 - QPR, Wolves, Bolton but the above wouldn't be too bad (although we will probably be getting WHU back )
West Ham are no certainty to go up. Reading are on fire at the moment and southampton are consistent. I would love them to spend another season in the championship!
Id rather United win it than city..who have indirectly ruined our sucess..at least we were gradually progressing..they just woke up with a pot of gold at the same time we hit the big time with our team..they would be no better than mid table fodder...
