On the subject of Manufactured City, there is a report in today's Sunday Times that City have agreed terms with RVP of...wait for it.. £210,000 per week!! Making him the highest paid player in the Prem - or almost anywhere.

Great result for swansea yet again - maybe harry can learn a thing or two from Rodgers about beating the big boys!

Catch city?no chance in hell

Interesting quote from Rodgers yesterday. He said, "all those fans worrying about me and Chelsea can relax. I'm looking to advance my career, not ruin it!"

When Arsene packs in it in a few years I suspect Rodgers will be the next long term manager at the arsenal

Possibly. I can certainly see him moving to a larger club at some point. It must be very concerning, if you are a Chelsea fan, that hardly anybody seems to want the poisoned chalice of managing there. Unless they're looking for a quick top- up of their bank balance, of course. ;)

A financial powerhouse? id say you have got plenty money in the kitty anyway...but your not allowed to spend it so it matters not to a fan.

Stadium almost paid off. New sponsorship deals will come in soon too. We take more match day income than any other club in world football (easily). Once the debts are off and the sponsorship is fixed then we will be up there with manure financially. But without the debt.

You might do if Savic keeps playing.

If he doesn't win a title medal with City, Utd should send him an honourary one. He makes Rafael look composed.

They have a harder run in then both of us! I think their title race will crumble and utd will run away with it - you can't buy experience! As for savic <laugh> he makes bramble look world class!

Still won't catch them though!

Nice bit of Greek you stuck in there spurf <ok>

I think I might be right in saying Savic has only played in one game where a mistake of his hasn't cost City a goal....so he played his best game against who? <whistle>
