Van Persie is the lone CF in our system and his world class not to mention the fact he has stayed fit so we have not needed anyone else. Off course he is going to score the goals he has. AVB sacked. Talked about it on here yesterday, but still did not expect it. Di Matteo will take over for the rest of the season.
His record with West Brom speaks for itself - he was headed straight back to the Championship before he was sacked.
2009-10: Roberto Di Matteo gets West Brom promoted from the Championship 2010-11: Roberto Di Matteo sacked as West Brom look to be headed back there 2011-12: Robert Di Matteo named Chelsea manager I can;t see any logical reason for this career progression at all.
5th February 2011: Roberto Di Matteo sacked by West Brom for a run that included one win in ten games 4th March 2012: West Brom beating Chelsea leads to Roberto Di Matteo being given the Chelsea job after a run of three wins in twelve Really, you want to talk about a team rolling over?
"Yay, I'm going to get games!" Already the rumour mill is saying the Chelsea players hate Di Matteo more than Villas-Boas, yet on the flipside, Di Matteo has already got something AVB never had - former Chelsea colleagues talking him up in the press, as Gianluca Vialli has already done.

A Yiddo friend of mine has an Arsenal scarf he bought off a Gooner for 10p in a pub after they'd lost 8-2. It's his favourite bit of non-Tottenham memorabilia
