Modric is undoubtedly important to us. But, no way are we as totally reliant on one player, as you currently are. He has scored more than half of all the goals you've scored this season. You can have all the midfield players you like, but at the end of it, somebody has to be relied on to put the ball in the back of the net. Otherwise it all counts for nothing. If RVP was playing for us, we would now be challenging for the title, I've absolutely no doubt about that. There's the difference!!

Van Persie is the lone CF in our system and his world class not to mention the fact he has stayed fit so we have not needed anyone else. Off course he is going to score the goals he has. No doubt everyone will talk about RVP after today's game but how many will mention the contributions of Sagna and Song? That's my problem.

RVP will be gone after the Summer, even if AFC manage to cling on to 4th.

He's got a year left on his contract too, which puts Arsenal in a difficult position.

AVB sacked. Talked about it on here yesterday, but still did not expect it. Di Matteo will take over for the rest of the season.

2009-10: Roberto Di Matteo gets West Brom promoted from the Championship
2010-11: Roberto Di Matteo sacked as West Brom look to be headed back there
2011-12: Robert Di Matteo named Chelsea manager

I can;t see any logical reason for this career progression at all.

Agree, now you can concentrate on 5th/6th, it's another roll over!

5th February 2011: Roberto Di Matteo sacked by West Brom for a run that included one win in ten games
4th March 2012: West Brom beating Chelsea leads to Roberto Di Matteo being given the Chelsea job after a run of three wins in twelve

Really, you want to talk about a team rolling over?

Any ideas as to what fat Frank is applauding?

"Yay, I'm going to get games!"

Already the rumour mill is saying the Chelsea players hate Di Matteo more than Villas-Boas, yet on the flipside, Di Matteo has already got something AVB never had - former Chelsea colleagues talking him up in the press, as Gianluca Vialli has already done.

either way its a great pantomine down there in Fulham...got no sympathy for any of them glory seeking gloaters..they will do a Liverpool

I switched over when Arsenal scored the first and Chelsea have lucked a goal against Birmingham now too <grr>

I'm switching over to the Knitting Channel, there can't be anything to upset me on there, surely?
