Adam Lallana imo is the best player in the championship and one of the most technically gifted english players. His ability with the ball at feet is great to watch and everytime he gets the ball he is a constant threat to the opposition. That said I do think that Lambert is more deserving of this award, because as well as his goals Rickie is a key part of how we play. How many times have we heard from the opposing managers about Lambert just being an aerial threat. I believe this season that Lambert has shown much more than this and with a bit more pace he would be a complete forward; he can hold the ball up, he brings others into the game, he has one hell of a shot and is great in the air. With 20 goals and 9 assists Rickie gets my vote.

its not manager of the year, its an award that "acknowledges those leaders that orchestrate generation defining moments for their club and its fans"
