3 players for Championship player of the year.

1. Rickie Lambert- top goal scorer changed his game learnt to adjust pivotal to Southampton's progress with his all round adjustment, Bought for 1 million is now the best player outside the premier league.

2. Peter Whittingham- the bloke who makes Cardiff tick has drive has skill and a non stop attitude for the cause even though Cardiff were written off at start of the season.

3.Adam Lallana- breath of fresh air with tricks and the ability to take the piss, injury prone, goes missing in games, if he does not fancy it you know if your a fan.

Bigger players for us this season include Guly, Chaplow, Hoovield, Fox.

Love Adam course I do but seriously he's a lucky boy its based on idiots watching the occasional games on tv.

Don't know much about Whittingham, but if it was between our lads I'd give it to Lambert for his continual high standard, his ability to play all over the pitch and being a true team player as well as a great striker. Lallana is a highly skilful player that I admire greatly, but I think he still has more to give.
 
I can see what you're saying. He has indeed gone missing in some games, to the extent that he would be lambasted on this very forum if his name was Guilherme Raymondo do Prado. But his pure guile, craft and natural talent make him one of the best, if not the best, creative attacking midfielder in the Championship when on form... It is credible, however, to suggest that he hasn't been consistently at his best this season, and perhaps is lucky to be the type of player to feature heavily in short "highlights".

Oh, and you missed out Richardson in the biggest players for us this season section.... Shame on you.

He's the best player in the league, few people would disagree. Hope Rickie gets it though, he's worked harder for it.

Best player in the league my ass! Matt Phillips from Blackpool has been more consistent than Lallana all season yes let's kiss his Arse cause he is playing ok now but seriously I thought it was a joke reading it.
 
It doesn't matter, Whittingham will win it... we were top of the league at one stage and they were too busy giving the manager of the month award to Hughton for taking a premiership team into a playoff place. Fact is, the media are too busy talking about bloody Brighton and how unfair the world is to the blue few to even mention how well we've done.

we should be the team people focus on, the most goals, a spectacular manager... and yet they keep loving on the media darlings, **** brighton, **** west ham, **** birmingham... the real achievements have been at SFC.

Whittingham... ****ing morons.

Your own manager can not chose his own player go to bed.

And how many managers have seen Lallana play well? About 7 max just as we have in games.
 
I think it's a very subjective matter,who is the best player in the championship or who is the best player in the world?It's never a defender or GK it's always an attacking player.
Like Messi and Ronaldo,yes they are great players but so are defenders.

Maybe you will grow up by the time morning comes and learn some manners...yes maybe NorthLondonSaint could have been more eloquant with his response, but let's face it...it hardly offended you after your title, and he wasnt far wrong, was he? After all, Lallana is class and with hindsight, you dont think you have been slightly hard on the lad (lallana that is)?
