Regardless of your views on the subject,Suarez has made himself look like a twat, and LFC like twats for supporting him. Dagleish should wipe the floor with him beacuse he's raked up a whole load of **** again, when everything could've been done and dusted and put in the past after today. Doesn't matter IF he was innocent, he should've manned up and shaken the hand and not worried about what anyone thought, for his team mates and for the club,a club that is bigger than him and will be there long after he's a distant memory. By LFC continually having to come out in support of him, and LFC fans feeling they have to support him no matter what his actions, you're painting yourselves into a corner, and a lot of neutrals round the country will turn against Liverpool FC, because of your bloody-mindedness that he can't possibly be wrong because he's a LFC player. This isn't about who's to blame in the original incident, this is about TODAY, so don't so blame the 'biased press' for what will inevitably happen over the next few days. Have an un-blinkered look at yourselves and blame Suarez.

It's ****ing shocking that some of you are STILL defending Suarez. Actually disgusting.

Some of you are trying to find every possible argument to discount him being racist. How about, possibly, just possibly, he was actually being racist? Or is that an impossibility for the angel of a man who got Ghana out of the World Cup with that handball and actually BIT a player while he was with Ajax?

Suarez admitted he used those words. He's guilty. That's it. It doesn't matter how he tried to use them. If you discriminate against someone because of their skin colour, it's racist. Ignorance is not an excuse, especially when you have already been in the country for an entire year up to that point.

I'm sure Suarez is pissed that Evra got him banned for 8 games, but it's entirely Suarez' fault as he was racist in the bloody first place. Letting that bitterness and stubbornness overflow by refusing to shake Evra's hand when Evra actually offered to draw the line under it is just a new low.

Right, first thing: 'the panel concluded' DOES NOT mean 'it was proven.'

Second thing, he said he used it once. Word, not 'words'.

And that's all I'm going to say.

Unbelievable. Still defending right to the bitter end huh?

Like I said, what the panel concluded is irrelevant anyway. It doesn't matter one bit whether it was used in a friendly way or whatever he spouted. He admitted that he used the word negro, which is a discriminatory racist term. He's guilty. End of story.

He was found guilty. NOT of being a racist, though. FA and Evra both stated that they thought Suarez wasn't a racist. Case closed. Change your plea or jog on.

The ban wasn't given because the FA deemed Suarez to be a racist person. They gave the ban because Suarez used a discriminatory racist term on the field, which Suarez admitted that he did. He was guilty. Case closed. Jog on.

So you think the word negro is racist?? <doh><doh><doh>

I really hope all Liverpool fans aren't this stupid.

Do you understand what discriminate means? Let me show you:

dis·crim·i·nate/disˈkriməˌnāt/
Verb:
Recognize a distinction; differentiate.
Perceive or constitute the difference in or between.

Suarez used a racial term to discriminate and differentiate against someone by way of race. That's against the rules, he admitted he did it, so he was found guilty and banned. How is that so difficult to comprehend?

It's actually funny. Liverpool fans seem to think referring to the opponent's skin colour is just being friendly. Shows how delusional they are. Why would you need to bring up the opponent's skin colour at all if you're just being friendly? Denial is something eh.

Bridge refused to shake Terry's hand - twice -! Nasri refused to shake Gallas' hand. I don't remember fergie calling them a disgrace to their respective clubs.

terry was in the wrong so why should bridge have shaken his hand?,suarez was in the wrong.suarez admitted to saying what evra said he said, therefore he had to be found guilty.
suarez should have just done the right thing to put everything to rest so we can move on.but suarez seems to like being banned, its not the first time he's been banned is it.

Still not a racist. I am going to jog on now, secure in the knowledge that you've acknowledged your mistake. ;)

Not ****ing stupid enough to believe that a word is racist. You really are a tit who is belong help.

Wow, you are an idiot. Are you 15 or something? I'll let you off on this one if you are a child, but if not, jesus christ.

Negro actually means black in Spanish and Portuguese. The whole issue is actually referring to race, whether it's derogatory or not. Even if a player called Evra 'black', much in the same way that Negro means black, it's still a descriminatory racist term which is against the rules and results in a ban.

Do you get it now? It doesn't matter whether the term is deemed racially offensive, all that matters is actually referring to race in the first place.

So describing somebody as black or white is racist now?

This list of words you find offensive is getting bigger, any chance you can do a list so we know what not to say.
