What would they have appealed? The verdict couldn't be appealed - only the ban which is worked out on a formula - so what was the appeal going to be?
Arsenal are **** enough, no one needs to have a go at them it would be like stating the obvious.
Yet you're below us in the table and we're still in the FA Cup and Champions league. What does that make you then?
Saurez admitted to using the words, a panel found him guilty and Liverpool didn't appeal. Now there is literally no evidence to support that Evra was lying but there is some to support that he was telling the truth. You cannot categorically say Suarez is innocent and there is no evidence to support it.
You all know if the roles were reversed and Evra was a Liverpool player then you would be supporting Evra.

Some people are so blind. Suarez shaking Evra's hand would have put the issue to bed, which is exactly what Suarez would have done had he said the comment. By refusing to shake Evra's hand he must be pretty adamant that Evra lied, regardless of what we think. As said already, I wouldn't shake the hand of someone who had dragged my name through the mud on a misconstrued comment said on-field. Hell, Evra was so unsure of what was said that he changed his statement multiple times. If you're going to be branding someone a racist then you gotta make damn sure you know what was said, and I don't think Evra can say that.
Fair point regarding the latter. However Liverpool not appealing is no admission of guilt, and I think we would've taken a bit more care making our evidence stick before crying to the FA. Evra's 'witnesses' weren't even within earshot! He had no witnesses!
I think it's a shame that the incident wasn't put to bed today. IF Suarez is innocent then I can understand he would feel hugely resentful towards Evra, but by not shaking his hand I think he has done more damage to his reputation. Now the issue will just drag on and on when it could have been forgotten about and more questions will be asked of Suarez' personality.
Suarez is a great footballer, I think it would do him the world of good to just keep his head down and only make headlines through his fantastic footballing abilities.

Hang on, wasn't Suarez found guilty?
More misplaced loyalty by some Liverpool fans. Probably the only occasion where I wanted to see Man untd win.
