As much as I hate to say it and as much as I would hate to follow what they are doing, I think with the players they are getting, they should be safe come the end of the season. Imagine what their spending will be like when they get another load of dosh!<yikes>

They'll probably be OK, Hughes definitely gives them a better shout than Colin. But despite the money they've spent, I still can't see many goals in them. Neither Zamora or Cisse are exactly prolific in the prem.
New players displacing existing ones, plus the ever charming Mr. Barton, the possibility of internal wranglings could be a headache for them.

i've said for a while that its all going to go tits up at qpr and this transfer window is not changing my mind about it. if anything, it is strengthening it. absolutely no idea what plan they have or even if they have got one! utter madness, throwing massive wages at average footballers. djibril cisse? SERIOUSLY!!??

they are going to end up in an unbelievable mess. its disappointing that despite witnessing the mess that smaller clubs such as portsmouth get into by going down this route, qpr still think its appropriate. it is impossible for them to become a global brand and a massive club and it is all going to end in tears. its a sad case of affairs.
all they are doing is proving they just got no class.

i don't think its got anything to do with class, although i agree it may look that way to some. i just think its the case that the owner had to convince hughes to take the job somehow so he said you can have unlimited money to spend in january. how long has hughes had to assess the squad? two weeks? i'm not sure hughes is a great manager anyway so it can only help us

QPR = The Premier League's Lobsters (Hoovering up the decaying and unwanted scraps leftover after animals higher up the foodchain have discarded them)

And we all know what happens when you act like a Lobster, you get...boiled alive and die http://tinyurl.com/5r98qfh

I think you lot should worry about your own club you 'six finger freaks' <ok>

Just because you lot cannot get the quality players we can you should not 'dis' them. Get over this QPR thing and move on.

Out of all of that, I'm not sure what to laugh at first.

We are not worried in the slightest Ellers, all happy with what we have got.

The fairest thing I can say is just cast your mind back to August and all the excitement generated among you QPR fans when you signed Dyer, SWP, Barton, Bothroyd etc. Who is to say this latest crop of signings will do any better? They might but they might not. Best not to get all Billy big bollocks just yet <ok>

Too right! Don't want people discussing some of the biggest transfer activity on deadline day, do we? That would be stupid and obsessive <doh>

Shouldn't laugh at old Ellers, even if he is a five-star pillock.

They're a global brand, don't you know?

hmm, jonny howson, £2m, leeds captain, england under 21 international, £15k a week or djibril cisse, £4m, lazio reject, didn't cut it in the premier league last time, £80k a week (allegedly), over 30?

that is a tough one... <laugh>

Exactly what I thought. There's the matter of avoiding relegation first. Even we are more concerned with avoid relegation at the moment!
