Mariappa looks to be on his way to Newcastle as an offer has been recieved by Watford, looks like him to Newcastle and Sordell to Fulham

Watford have rejected a 2 million bid for Adrian Mariappa. Where as the daily mail are reporting that Watford have rejected a 3 million bid for Marriappa
Very unlikely Watford would say no to £3m, but £2m is too low.

Arsenal running the rule over Watford defender Adrian Marriapa over possible 4M transfer. Marriapa currently a target for Pardew's Newcastle however would rather stay in nearby to his London roots. The Watford defender currently has 18 months still to run on his current contract and would provide much needed funds for Watford to continue to rebuild.
I guess Wenger is looking over the fence at the training ground.

I don't know if this has been covered elsewhere but this is a statement from Bassini from the Watford FC website:
WITH both Marvin Sordell and Adrian Mariappa currently the subject of January transfer window speculation,
Hornets' owner Laurence Bassini stressed that he is "not interested" in anything other than what serves Watford FC
best.
"We have our own priorities here at the club," said Bassini.
"I've talked previously about how I thought Watford was viewed as a soft touch by some. Well not any more.
"If people want to show serious interest in one of our players, then for me that means the kind of offer that this club
couldn't refuse," he said.
"The value of a player, to us, goes beyond just a transfer fee. We invest time and money into developing all our
players so we do not want to see that wasted."

Francois zoko to Watford not true because Carlisle board has said after the dealings with Watford over Graham they will not consider transfer deals with them.

Reading have opened talks with Colchester to sign John Joe O'Toole.
He was always very under-rated in my opinion. I like the guy and think he would be a good creative player for us. Such a shame he was not given his chance.
