Anyway, I'm pessimistic about the Tommy rumour, not just because he did well from the bench yesterday, but because Mark Hughes knows talent when he sees it.

Busy last week of the transfer window for Watford.

Gilmartin, Bryan and Mirfin will all be leaving. Mariappa and Sordell could also leave.

Enda Stevens, Marcello Trotta and Tommy Smith will join on loan. If Mariappa and Sordell leave, Watford have permanent replacements lined up for them already.

Bryan's already gone! lol...i think Gilmartin will go, either now or in the summer. Mirfin has only just got here, but could go. Mariappa is rumoured to be going to the Magpies and Sordell is staying til the summer.

I think NNW might be right about Tommy Smith sadly :(
 
When Craig Gordon was at the Jambos he was a rarity, a player for a non-Old Firm team that their fans would talk about wanting for their teams. If it were true, would like him to come to the Vic.

H, Michael Bryan played for Bournemouth's reserves and, following his performance, their reserve coach recommended to their manager that he had a look at him so he's currently on trial there.

Watford are interested in Shrewsbury striker James Collins. Watford want a prolific goalscorer to partner Marvin Sordell and Collins has scored 14 goals in 48 appearences for Shrewsbury.

14 goals in 48 matches is 1 goal in 3.5 matches. This total is not prolific for a goal scorer in the fourth level.

Watford looking for depth out wing and the player they could be after is Leyton Orient winger Dean Cox. Dean Cox has scored 16 goals in 66 appearences for orient. Watford are prepared to bid £550k for the winger.
