I'm sure I posted here earlier? Anyway, I'm pessimistic about the Tommy rumour, not just because he did well from the bench yesterday, but because Mark Hughes knows talent when he sees it.
I would go and get him and give him a lift down to Watford, under rated keeper never had the breaks in the EPL. IMO!
On talkSPORT yesterday night it was said that Newcastle are linked with Aidy Mariappa and Scotty Loach. Hope this is not true.
22 Jan 2012 13:22:39 Busy last week of the transfer window for Watford. Gilmartin, Bryan and Mirfin will all be leaving. Mariappa and Sordell could also leave. Enda Stevens, Marcello Trotta and Tommy Smith will join on loan. If Mariappa and Sordell leave, Watford have permanent replacements lined up for them already. 22 Jan 2012 13:14:24 Marc Pugh will join Watford next week with Michael Bryan going the other way to Bournemouth on a free transfer
Apologies if you've already divulged your source but wonder where The PSH Rival To Sky Transfer Centre info comes from: Glos Gazette ? Edinburgh Examiner ??
Nick look at the site BB has put on there, that is where all the fiction comes from, however sometimes just sometimes they get it right Mostly wrong though, but some talking points
Sounds too good for us then! http://shar.es/f1Yxy Bryan's already gone! lol...i think Gilmartin will go, either now or in the summer. Mirfin has only just got here, but could go. Mariappa is rumoured to be going to the Magpies and Sordell is staying til the summer. I think NNW might be right about Tommy Smith sadly
When Craig Gordon was at the Jambos he was a rarity, a player for a non-Old Firm team that their fans would talk about wanting for their teams. If it were true, would like him to come to the Vic. H, Michael Bryan played for Bournemouth's reserves and, following his performance, their reserve coach recommended to their manager that he had a look at him so he's currently on trial there.
22 Jan 2012 16:39:40 Bolton manager Owen Coyle has launched a 4 million pound bid for Watford's promising young striker Marvin Sordell. 22 Jan 2012 14:43:57 The work of Gregg Abbott at small club Carlisle isn't going unnoticed at higher levels, Ken Bates looking at the former Leeds youth coach to replace simon grayson should the whites continue to falter, he will face competition for his signature from sheff wed, coventry & watford
Yes, I noticed that as well OFH It would be a good move for him if it were true, he would definitely get in their team! but by god we would miss him and we have not got a ready made replacement at the club. Player of the season, so far IMO!
Watford are interested in Shrewsbury striker James Collins. Watford want a prolific goalscorer to partner Marvin Sordell and Collins has scored 14 goals in 48 appearences for Shrewsbury. 14 goals in 48 matches is 1 goal in 3.5 matches. This total is not prolific for a goal scorer in the fourth level.
Australia's Archie Thompson scored that in one international match - we'd be better off enquiring about him, even if it was against a team of similar standing to L*t*n
Is this a rumour or a non-rumour? Seeing as the Pompey fans have been talking about it all day, I think it falls into the latter. Ipswich bid £1m for the pair last week, which was turned down. The guess is that £1.6m might sway matters as that is the amount owed to HMRC. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sp...s/9479186.Reports_of_double_Pompey_bid_false/
23 Jan 2012 20:34:36 Watford are after at least two wingers. Ryan Hall has been touted but haven't heard anyone mention Watt or Cox. 23 Jan 2012 18:46:33 Watford Linked With Arsenal Youngster Sanchez Watt, The Hornets Want A Winger And They Will Attempt To Sign Him On Loan. Too lightweight I'm a wednesday fan and we have recently had him on loan. shocking player 23 Jan 2012 17:18:18 Watford looking for depth out wing and the player they could be after is Leyton Orient winger Dean Cox. Dean Cox has scored 16 goals in 66 appearences for orient. Watford are prepared to bid £550k for the winger. 23 Jan 2012 17:26:47 Watford May Make Possible Moves For Leyton Orient Winger Dean Cox And Shrewsbury Striker James Collins. Sean Dyche Stated That He Is Looking To Strengthen Out Wide And Have More Fire Power And James Collins And Dean Cox Is At The Top Of Watfords List. Watford To Offer £550k For Cox And £450k For Collins. 23 Jan 2012 17:20:33 Watford have turned down Newcastle's initial offer. Anything over £3M will do nicely. Watford B Team (Cardiff) and Swansea also rumoured to be interested. Watford b team, very bitter! Who for? Looks like your 'B' team is doing a hell of a lot better than your first team ha ha...muppet!
Kari Ãrnason's contract at Aberdeen finishes in the summer. Two English clubs are chasing but I do not know who. He is a defender who can play midfield and he scores some goals as well.
