He truly is absolutely woeful! He has no idea how to mark somebody and his positional sense is embarrassing! He has no imagination and always passes backwards to transfer the pressure to the centre backs or goalie. He made 2 mistakes for the first goal (giving the ball away, then losing Nugent and letting him get his shot away) and the cross for the second goal came from his side of the pitch. I don't know what Adkins sees in him, I really don't. P.S. this is in no way a criticism of Nigel Adkins...
Rules for Not606: 1) Never criticise Dan Harding - he can't put a foot wrong. 2) Always put Dickson down for making one mistake against Man U. 3) Always give Fox a rating of 5 or below as he will never be as good as Harding; I mean what a waste of money!
Our best player.. Was hooiveld.. He deserved that captains armband when hammond went off... shame the rest of the team wasn't as inspired.
Harding was woeful only because he was out of position. I think the only man at fault for tonight is the manager. Should have started Richardson so that we had two decent overlapping fullbacks. The new kid looks like he prefers a more central role, if so then i can see him struggling to fit into the team
Couldn't wait could you, eventually he was going to have a bad one and today was it, until he was back where he belongs at Left Back, however I do doubt the wisdom of not starting Richardson at Right Back, that made no sense at all.
Harding had a total mare tonight. Every time he got the ball he stuttered before passing it back to Davis, who then passed it to Fox, who was then closed down, which then gave away a throw in, and gave the ball back to Leicester. I lost count of how many times that happend tonight!
Yes Harding was bad - but lets deal with the issue - why do we have no backup right back? Why do we have no back up centre back either? We spend three weeks chasing Hooper but to win this league you need to be tight at the back! We leak goals because we lack cover and we need a little more quality. One positive note - Jos was fantastic tonight.
As he always is. Best signing for us this season by far. He will be missed with a potential Hamstring injury
Harding was just showing Nugent inside onto his own better foot. It was clearly not his fault that Nugent has electric pace and as a striker would always be looking to get a shot on goal than a cross from the outside with his own weaker foot. That's the sarcasm out the way. Harding was poor. He's a little tryer and you can really see the effort but he's just not good enough. How many times did he needlessly put it out of play.
Harding was dreadful but he was playing out of position against a nippy winger on his weaker foot. If Richardson was fully fit the blame can only lie with the manager for not starting him. Was Butterfield injured for tonight?
Falque I thought had a good game got into good positions and wasn't afraid to shoot, why the **** did guly stay on?
