Ok lads, i'm getting a Blackberry Curve 8520 as my next phone on a pay monthly contract, and there are 2 deals on that I'm interested in, either:

12 Months, £50 handest 300 minutes, 5000 texts, 250MB internet browsing - £20 a month
24 Months, 300 minutes, 5000 texts, 500MB internet browsing - £20 a month

Now the only thing I would do on my blackberry is go on facebook or this website, and I'm pretty skint so don't want to be going over the limit, so do you guys think that 250MB is enough, or should I go for 500MB?

Cheers

If you are only using it for facebook I would definitely think the 250mb should be enough, but it gets tempting to download apps and stuff on those kind of phones so be careful, they are both good deals mind, 250mb should be enough though I'd imagine!

Personally not a fan of the blackberry myself but each to their own nd all that ;)

Do not get the 24 month contract, you'll be lumbered with the phone for 2 years!
250mb will be enough for when you're out and about & the phone should be able to connect to your home wifi when you're at home.
Plus depending on where you are, BT has some wifi hotspots called openzone which every phone company gives you some freetime for per month, think it's a couple of hours.
The only way you'd probably go over 250mb is if you go on a thread with loads of pictures like the sexy poll.

I'm not a fan of the Blackberry either, wor lass had a nightmare with the storm 2 constantly going wrong and it's put me off their phones. Plus I love my iPhone too much, links well with my Macbook Pro :D

Yeah searching through the internet trying to find a 12 month one where I don't have to pay upfront. One of the main reasons I'm getting a blackberry is that for some reason in the past couple of months a lot of people I know have got them, and it makes it easier with blackberry messenger to talk and stuff. Plus form the people i've known to have one no one has had any problems.

You should get whatsapp. It's a messenger service for Android, Blackberry & iPhones - scans your phone numbers so any of your mates who have it you will already be able to see as soon as you've downloaded it & they'll be able to see you've got it too.
I'm sure their normal phones are probably fine, but I know plenty of people who have had the first Storm & the Storm 2 who have had a mare, it's down to the touchscreens being push in screens and not pressure sensitive - bit ridiculous in this day and age! Plus wor lasses kept resetting and draining the battery, not the best!

Once I reach the celestial heights of 'Senior Member' I'm going to retire, frame my 250 points experience logo and bore my grandkids with stories of the good old days on 606 when men wore long trousers and fanny was a girl's name.

Beardo i bet you used to batter one out over her in your Youth, You can probably even remember when Esther Rantzen was an up and coming young reporter with buck teeth!
