As it happens, I'd suggest that we do believe he's worth more than that, but as others have said it is all about negotiation. We'll just keep upping our bid until we reach a level that we're not prepared to go beyond. - which I suspect will be a whole lot more than £4m. I mean, if you go straight in at the deep end with as much as you can possibly afford, you end up paying £35m for Andy Carroll.
Don't forget the Scottish Cup, which has its fair share of giantkilling like our own Cup. February 8th 2000 anyone?

Why all the animosity. We want to buy a good player, they don't want to sell . End of. Unless Celtic and Rangers get into the EPL, you can't judge them.
The fact they get 40,000 plus to watch Kilmarnock etc should be admired! We don't get 32,000 for Doncaster!

The SPL is so bad yet Premiership clubs are always after our players, yes coming up to Scotland for players is usually a cheap option but our players can't be that bad if Premiership managers are willing to buy them. There's a whole list of players now playing in the EPL and doing well for themselves who started their careers in the SPL or at one point has played in the SPL. Not to mention all the players from Scotland currently playing in the Championship as well
The sad thing is for Celtic, because of the size of their fanbase and club in general, if they joined the EPL they'd be massive. Shame they're in Scotland.
