    Yes I do. Your first offer should be at least 75% of what the player is worth. In your case your 2nd offer was about 50% of what the player is worth.

    Scottish football is weird. Celtic hate Rangers and Rangers hate celtic but in reality all you lot have is a rivalry. No other game you ever play matters except in the champions league when you are being tonked by the champions of cyprus.

    Is it? Is that why clubs like Portsmouth and West Ham are in the Championship? Is that why Everton cannot afford to buy any players? Is that why clubs like Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal etc. have debts on a par with African nations?

    The SPL is just a poor (money wise and football wise) version of La Liga, a league that realistically only has 2 teams competing for it

    The EPL will soon be like this and the trophy won't be seen outside Manchester for a very long time

    Playing for Nigel again would be a powerful incentive for Hooper to go for the move.

    Don't believe the actual figures have ever been announced. We have a valuation of a player. If it's not acceptable, we look elsewhere. Teams set the valuation high if they don't want to sell, like we did with Oxo (12 million, rising to 15 with massive sell-on clause). No idiot would pay that...oh, wait a minute bad example<laugh>
