Well fantastic result today, kept it tight, held out knowing one chance and we could nick it. Well we did, although I think Forest will feel robbed, hey ho.
Well did anyone notice how uninterested Robbie Koren looked today? his performance was perplexing to say the least one minute, stuck in and chasing down, the next he couldnt be arsed? Whats going on Robbie? you're better than that...
Crowd, and support, it seemed like all the singers were spread all over the place and what with the Forest fans above us, the sound was strange, no one could really start a chant and get the stand/singing in synch. The result was a odd pattern of changing singing/chants. I think 3500 could have done better, I was watching fans around us, some were supporting other were virtually mute for the game??? god knows why some people bother going to games...
Final observation, wasnt it great to watch Gerhard and Mannone throwing their shirts into the crowd. The players showed thier appreciation of the support, I just wish some people could really show thier support better.
Hope Gerrard and Mannone stay with us next season.
Quick player assessment:
Mannone: Pulled his thigh, hope he's OK for Tuesday, but doubt it. Punched a few clearances and looked a bit loose at times.
Dawson: Given too much time can make elementary mistakes
Gerrard: 10 out of 10 Brilliant
Chester: Class, has touch and brains, Quality.
Rosenior: WHAT CAN YOU SAY, ACE, BRILLIANT, SUPERB
Evans: Pearson Sign him up
Harper: Unfairly criticised, got ran about abit and was chasing a little too much, but agaoinst a good side like Forest you can forgive him.
Koren: Hot and COLD, Whats going on Robbie?
McLean: 100% effort well played sunshine.
Simpson: Juries out
Fryatt: SupaMatt, great finish. ''Can I have some more?''
Barmby: You amaze us!
Amoo: Lets see what you can do Amoo?
Hobbs: Stayed the ship
On to Tuesday, can't wait
