The family area's don't really matter .. cheap prices.. adults sit there by themselfs.. i for one sit in the Family Area as its oly ã110 .... still get alot of bad language and singing.. its also nice to see the kids trying to get a song going around me
I never criticised the west stand for not singing. The problem lies with E5 where there is a large part of the crowd who dont sing and stop the songs started in either E1 or E6 (Taffy). I sing loud and proud at games and as for your comment " instead of saying "Why isn't everybody doing what I want them to do?" maybe the atmosphere would improve." is a very poor attempt at a wind up. And thats what you try to do at every attempt, try to wind up. You keep putting words into my mouth like the above and the pissed up comment earlier on. Thats because you are a WUM. Plain and simple. Attention seeking. Well I've tried to reason with you and you even agree with what i say but then still try and find a way to have a dig. I see it with my very eyes. Right next to me the E5 section stop songs from spreading to the whole of the east stand. They should be sat in the west stand if they dont want to sing. Singing is good, being mute is bad. People dont need banning for not singing but they need to learn the value of making a noise. Imagine the atmosphere if everyone joined in like those Belgian fans?
Presumably I'm the friend in the West stand? It might be because I've been going about 10 years longer than you, and I'm in the family stand.
I wouldn't be so sure they can hear it. I sit towards the front of E5 and I very rarely hear anything coming from the left. When we do hear something coming from that side there's usually something else coming from the right at the same time and they just sort of merge into one incoherent noise. I'm not saying they're not starting it, but we're not hearing it. Maybe the times we do hear them it's the ones they've done better to start it. As for coming the other way, if us scoring first didn't result in the moronic "How **** must you be we're winning at home" more people might join in. It had humour when it was being used at away games while we were on our 18 month run without a win, now it's just saying our team is **** when we're really not, there's no shame in losing to us so why taunt them about 1-0 scorelines as though it's an embarrassment for them?
james, its a bit like the mexican wave effect where a whole block of people refraining from taking part can kill it. I sit in E6 and see it happening with my very eyes and ears. But i tell you what James, just presume I am lying or am an idiot whose opinion is worthless.
And yet again we have a demand for more noise at the KC. So all those who respect other fans right to support the club how they want even if it means not singing should now say bollox to that, either get behind the club or stay at home. It is your duty. Pearson has called for it.
