But yeh far right thuggery is the problem here <laugh> <doh>
Don't agree with putting the video up but anyway...

Probably wrong country (Italy) for him to do this sort of thing tbph, they will not **** about with him out there, just go check Amnesty International and other sources for more detail.

He's certainly going to regret his actions for sure, this will not be any softly softly UK touch. You don't **** about in a far-right country without finding out.

I just hope the cigarette burns and anal insertions were worth it, be lucky if he even makes the court room.

Partly probably that he knows his seat is a big risk as it stands. A slim chance now but probably the only one he’ll ever get to be PM. Nothing to really lose. Maybe he eventually stands aside in exchange for a nice gig as part of Burnham’s Cabinet.
Yeah agree. I'd already assumed until his most recent words that he'd booked a place on Burnham's front bench.

A quick look at various bookies have them ranging from 9/1 to 18/1.

Serious money being put on Restore, or the
bookies searching for the "sweet spot" odds
to lure the punters in ??

Lure in punters

Absolutely no way Restore wins, but then running will guarantee Burnham winning.

Yeah surely Restore is just a bunch of no hopers. Don't even see the point of them running, all over after him and Farage had a tiff.

This is a "free throw" for them
(they get to test several claims/premises together) .

For fate to offer them this so soon after
the May 7th elections, is interesting.

I've not really paid them any attention tbph. If I was a betting man which I'm not, but for fun I'd put on outsiders and even I wouldn't place on them. Tories look tempting at 250/1, ****ing good job I don't gamble. <laugh>

The bookies offering quite low odds for perceived
"no hopers" , at such an early stage in the contest,
suggests they have more info on the appeal of
Restore on a national level than we do (collectively
there may be a lot of actual betting / wager
inquiries going on etc) .

Liverpool guy and the raise the colours guy

How many other mow downs have there been here in the UK ?

I think a lot of problems with these car attacks is they are just copycats from news media throughout Europe. Someone gets up that's having a bad day in Italy (or any country), and decides they want to play human skittles with their car. A Town is not going to have the same traffic measures as a major City. Easiest solution is ban cars, but when Mr Khan brings in measures to discourage cars and pollution he gets **** for it. Remove the car you remove the problem. I would have suggested maybe people with mental illnesses could have their licences taken away from them, but the Nottingham attacker stole the van he was in I believe, so that idea don't work either.

They're best priced 9/1 because they won't ****ing win.

And it doesn't take much money to shift prices in markets like these.

quite a few but they are normally "grudge" attacks rather than "political"
after all fairly recently that social media influencer died after another one ran her and others over in London

I must have missed that.

What a tragic and ridiculous thing to do.

I guess people always want to pin a motive on a violent attack, whether it's with a car, a knife or whatever.

Ultimately, it comes down to that person being so mentally unstable to the point where they've lost control of their emotions.

Whatever race or religion they are.

So were now onto banning cars instead of the big elephant in the room praying 5 times a day

<laugh>

You don't drive bro, so go and sit on the naughty step and behave yourself. <laugh>

Tbph I think most cars in the future will be banned from Cities anyway, especially once everything is automated. There will probably be some automated device in them that stops attacks like this happening.

Anyway I'm sure we are caring more about the people who were affected by this tragedy, so I took this from the Italian media Rai after translation...

Update on the injured: five still hospitalized between Modena and Bologna (two with reserved prognosis) and three discharged

Of the eight people injured in the hit-and-run and stabbing yesterday afternoon in Modena, five are still hospitalized between Modena and Bologna, while three have already been discharged.

An Italian couple, both 55 years old, are being treated in intensive care at the Bologna hospital. Their condition is stable but very serious. The woman has multiple injuries and is fighting for her life. Her husband's life is no longer in immediate danger. Three people are being treated at the Baggiovara Civil Hospital (Modena). A 69-year-old German woman underwent surgery in the past few hours and is in serious but stable condition. She was the last woman struck by the car driven by El Koudri, and both of her legs were severed in the impact.

A 53-year-old Polish woman, who has undergone several surgeries, is also hospitalized and is in serious condition. The prognosis for both remains guarded: they are sedated and cannot be communicated with.

The third patient admitted to Baggiovara is a 59-year-old Italian man with facial trauma. He spent the night under observation in the Emergency Medicine Unit and is expected to remain in hospital for 30 days.

Three injured people, all reportedly Italian, have already been discharged from the Modena Polyclinic Emergency Room: a 22-year-old woman with a head injury (10-day prognosis), a 30-year-old man with a panic attack (2-day prognosis), and a 47-year-old man with a stab wound (7-day prognosis). The latter is Luca Signorelli, the man who first subdued Salim El Koudri and was injured in the fight.
