Don't have TikTok, looked at it a few times though, but only for music. Probably my first two go to places for video music, Youtube first then TikTok on a rare ocassion.

Not sure what version of SKY you are seeing in your region, but it's been fully supportive of Burnham where I am. Although as I've said in a previous comment, can't see what any of it is going to change.

Banter aside, I understand the reason people are 50/50 tbh. I also have spoken to you on here about disagreeing with the idea that PMs should be "sacked"

In a logical country, Burnham who is popular could have been asked to step in and help, not take ****ing over. But thats not the UK I'm afraid.

It happens in European countries a lot more but in British Parliament it just doesn't.

One thing I like is Burnham has been a mayor and a lot like Boris, Mayor's tend to have a way better connection to the public.

I just recall many times he's been on the right side of debates and even stood against the party line for good reasons

His record in Manchester is there for everyone to see, it's the fasting growing city in the UK. It's growth is 3.1% almost double the national average

I think they should have just left Starmer to get on with it, but the pantomime personally politics of 2026 means that he would just be a sitting duck now and likely crash Labour at the next GE

So it is what it is and now they need to replace him. I think Burnham would probably make quite a good PM. He’s a good communicator, he seems to work well across the political spectrum and his record in Manchester speaks for itself.

He's supported Starmer from day one but he said it becomes a problem when it becomes a running joke/a meme to hate the PM. When people off the cuff say "oh he's a dickhead" and don't care about any of the facts, it becomes almost impossible to change that.

Yeah I agree with you mate. Thing is with Starmer he just needs support, I'm not sure the correct phrase but like a trouble shooter, someone that walks in, defines the problems and roots out the causes.

Andy would probably be good at doing that, then just give feed back and guidance. Since Rayner has gone, Keir's not really had someone by his side with the strengths to assist him, he ended up with a deputy he really didn't want.

I'd stick Burnham in as his number two, but this all requires the Labour Party / NEC to get their heads together and talk instead of pulling in different directions. For me it's a clash between the left and centre left.

I'd like to say leave Starmer to do the offshore stuff and leave Burnham to do the home domestic situation.

Yeah, the issue as you allude too is that the Tories and Labour have been monolithic big tent parties for so long that they've fractured within.

So, in reality the current Labour government is more like a coalition of two parties who just agree that they're "not the Conservatives"

Burnham is seen as the "lefts guy" which is why Rayner wants him in, Streeting the "right guy" it's a ****ing mess.

and we need to change the law around gifts, no single person requires £5M ffs. It's just ****ing greed and underhand tactics. If you really want to give someone that amount of money then put a high tax rate on it, so the lesser in society can benefit as well, so people don't have to struggle to feed themselves. We've got laws for inheritance, so set a threshold for gifts, then once you go over that amount it becomes taxable if paid to someone in the UK.

You seem to forget, the only persons voting Starmer out will be Labour supporters, as it will take Labour supporters to vote Burnham in, which then brings an extremely harsh challenge on the party leader by LABOUR and the NEC.

Well the easiest way to throw a spanner in the works is vote Reform on the 18th June by-election.

IF social media is as powerful as is alluded to then it should only be a formality to stop Burnham.
