Should Newcastle replace Eddie Howe

Here's the undeniable stat that shows how badly Howe has got things wrong this season: at the end of the 21-22 season we finished 11th with 49 points...that was the season we were in the bottom 3 until matchday 22. I am not even remotely confident we will finish as good as that this season...after spending £750m in four years.

No, that's why I said "comparitivly".

Because with the hyper inflation in transfer prices in the last 30 and 20 years, Keegan and Robson would have been funded more. Hence breaking the world transfer record under Keegan and being nowhere near it's since.
Howe had £250m to spend last summer - he could have broke the world transfer record if he wanted to.....

Tbh keegan has nothing to do with it. It's just pointing away.

Newcastle are crap, Howes had a fortune and isn't doing well, that's it!!! That's why people are reduced to irrelevant comparisons, and pointing at the past instead of the present.

Some want Howe out and others don't.... Time will tell... We can argue all day and nobody will be right.

No he couldn't. We needed a defender, a new striker force and several others for that money.

The only players that would cost £250m would have been Yamal and Mbappe, neither of which we stood any remote chance of signing.

The only way we could have broken the world transfer record is if we decided to pay Villa £250m for Jacob Ramsey just for ****s n giggles.

I'm going to cut him some slack - last summer is the clubs fault primarily. No CEO or Sporting Director. They would be responsible for transfer decisions. Howe picked the players yes and he knows he has ****ed up. But someone should have been there to control the transfers.

The club were also the ones dragging their feet over Isak. This meant we lost pre-season without a replacement. Howe's main mistake for me was not rotating players when in CL

so by your last sentence, you admit he could have. He didnt but he could have spunked the lot on one player

I think you are., but I can assure you that the cult will never yield. You're dealing with people that 1. Assign credit to Howe for winning games and successes and 2. Blame the players, the owners or Bunse for defeats and failures.

I'm of the opinion Howe and all these guys are whistling into the wind.

It's just another explanation of Howes refusal to try anything different than his plan... His plan would work if the players did it right is the line.... It's a bit like the guy that blames his control pad.
