Your way of changing the argument is Munson-esque
Your argument was Keegan had funds to break the British transfer record on Shearer but Howe hadn't. He blatantly had (and more) was my counter to your argument. Again I am right am I not.

No you're not, you said he could have broken the world transfer record, he couldn't have, as only players that cost £250m would be Yamal and Mbappe which would never come to us.

I sarcastically said we could have just paid £250m for Jacob Ramsey to break the record, and for some reason you said I just proved your point. A transfer like that can't happen because of regulations about what a player can actually cost.

The entire point of mentioning the Shearer signing by Keegan was to show the signing power we had above other clubs back then that we don't have now.

You are now adding more conditions to your original premise that Howe wasn't comparably funded compared to Keegan or Robson. He had the money to break the record, that is a fact as he spent £250m in the summer. Thats all Im saying.

Hauling you back to what you originally said, which was "he could have broken the record of he wanted to", he couldn't have at all.

He could have, he had the funds. Did he have the attraction to get top quality player that breaking the record would entail, that's a different question.

Howe has been the most backed manager in NUFC history in terms of funds and with that he has bought us the most unbalanced squad which requires a major rebuild this summer and has left us in 14th position. They are the facts and if you dispute them, Id like to hear why?

He couldn't have broken the world transfer record cos Yamal and Mbappe wouldn't have come here and we wouldn't be able to give salaries of £600k+ pew week. It's not a different question, it's a fact that he couldn't have.

The second paragraph completely ignores the rapid inflation in football player prices, to direct comparisons make no sense. Each manager is backed more than the last in that sense. The difference is that Keegan was by far the top spender in the division at the time, likewise Robson's signings were level with the most expensive signings at the time, Howe's backing is nowhere near them comparatively.

Likewise this season is just a bad season, which anyone can have - Liverpool have been ble compared to last season, City had a period when they were losing every game last season, Chelsea were horrendous the season of their take over, Man U were dire last season and Spurs have been dogshit the past 2 seasons.

Howe had £250m to spend last summer - he could have broke the world transfer record if he wanted to.....
No he could not. Amateurish mistake on your part again.

With Shearer we paid a world record fee AND we paid Shearer his wages which no doubt reflected on his status as the most expensive player in the World. We may have been able to pay a world record fee with last year’s money but we would not have been able to pay the wages that would go with such a player. You can’t have one without the other.

So, the point is, EH would not have been able to break the the world record fee as no player would have signed without the commensurate wages. Fairly obvious, to be fair.

Agreed on this - It's why a lot of the big names didn't join us in the summer (supposedly). we couldn't match the wages offered by the likes of Man Utd, Arsenal, Man City, Chelsea etc

Miaow.

Eddie is the most fund supported manager ever in Newcastle history and if he leaves, he leaves an absolute **** show of a squad behind him. He now has his favourites not playing for him. Gordon, he will play where he likes is now play when he likes. Howe has lost it and spent £750m for one cup. CP spent a fifth and have 2 cups and maybe a 3rd before the season is out.

Howe will be out of NUFC in October at the latest as either goes before the end of the season or when this form continues into the new one and people realise, 1 years form is not a blip, its a demise!

I think your dummy is under the table.

I see Mourinho is off to Real Madrid again potentially... Laughable that some Newcastle United fans think he's not good enough for this club.
