Should Newcastle replace Eddie Howe

Someone that is Elite. Throw money at it. If we can spunk £100k a week on Elanga and Wissa, we can offer an elite manager a pay rise and a £200m war chest.

Out of interest, who would people like to see as our manager next season? Howe? Iraola? Mourinho? Hoeness? Another?

Hoeness would show understanding and a desire to take a risk and be progressive. Inzaghi would be a really ambitious move. Either of those for me.

The players are gone, most of the crowd is gone, you’d have to be certifiably insane to think Howe can turn this around.

Howe....for no other reason than the whingeing bastards on here would hopefully all f@ck off in disgust and the board could return to the fun place it used to be.
Welcome back. You must be elated at how the team has picked up now that Howe has time with them on the training pitch....

The cult have all realised they've been completely wrong all season, so they're hiding, rather than have to yield to those they so ruthlessly ridiculed.

I think Howe will go for sure in the Summer. If the decision has already been made it should be communicated to all so we can use these last few games to thank him.

I think Howe will go to manage England or perhaps Spurs.

PIF have talked about this summer as the summer we go global on and off the pitch and I just don’t think Eddie has the global appeal of some of the bigger names like Jose.

Would Jose be more of a pull for a young talent than Eddie? Probably so.

To the players? Some have thrown in the towel and I Just want them sold ASAP

They have let Eddie down and the fans. Retain those who we value and want to stay and move the rest on.

Gordon, Tino, Sandro, Wissa, the expiring contracts, murph, Elanga, Both keepers can all go for me.

It will be sad to see Eddie go. He’s done great and has deserved another season imho. But it’s part of football and football progression to evolve coaching and switch personnel strategically from time to time.

Same ****. Plucky triers but that’s who Howe is. Nothing wrong with it, but not one sane person on planet football puts Howe alongside Pep, Flick, Simeone, Xavi, Emery, etc. The club is now where we were under Ashley. Lifeless, treading water, bigging up crap players, fishing in relegation ponds.

For me, with the investment , Rafa would’ve done better than Howe. Any idiot thinking we can’t do better is off their head.

We are where we were under Ashley? Holy **** Roly… welcome back! I’ve missed your absolutely mental acid trips and Trump like disregard for facts. Hope you are well.

If you think that 2 champions league seasons are the same as 2 relegations, then it's totally like Ashley. You have to forget the trophy we won as well.

It does indicate exactly that.

Stats and what Argentina do don't matter..entertainment isn't menasures in the number of goals... It's what happened.
exactly. World cups are about iconic moments. '90 was full of them. nothing iconic (in my opinion) has happened since 2006 barring the demolition of Brazil by Germany in 2014 and that was more shocking and sad more than thrilling. Tiki taka or gugenpress has unfortunately dominated and all teams play the exact same way now. Countries used to have their own unique style of play but now its cookie cutter bull crud

Howe has done a great job for us since arriving, and is a very decent bloke.
However, despite a few great games, nobody can deny we’ve gone backwards since the cup final win.
Arguments for and against aplenty.
Cesc Fabregas for me if he goes.

Anyone at this stage to be honest. Im so bored of him now. Im so bored of not celebrating a goal as I know that it doesnt matter as we will concede. Im so bored of watching Howe, play about with the striker role, as he searches for any solution that doesnt include Nick or Wissa. Im so bored of pass it to the wingers, they turn back and pass it to our defenders, who then get pressed and give the ball away. Im so bored of watching goals go in and wondering would it make a difference if we played with no keeper, such is his impressive save stats.......

Im so bored of Howe doing a Bruce and say 'it so uncharacteristic of us as we lose for the 15 time this season and we will learn from this...... He doesnt, he wont and it'll be the same the next game.

Just bored of groundhog day!

I'm sure when PIF are at Maften Hall later this month, how is our manager next season will be a massive talking point.
