Too busy winding up their fellow fans online to actually protest.I guess that the planned protest was a non event? It seems that the Spirit of the Saints has drained away. Not even any fight to make the effort?

Interesting that even the club pet journo is starting to get it.Just seen these on Saintsweb. Alfie not holding back!
The top one is spot on, we need an old fashioned manager and not a head coach.

Spors does have a lot to answer for imho. When he took over he said he wanted to sign strong, athletic, powerful players to compete this season.
Still waiting for them.
Had 6 months to prepare for it as well, and we went in woefully unprepared.
Blokes a ****ing fraud.

Wasn't Spors giving it the big bollocks that the buck stops with him, and he would front it too on his interview when he first joined?
Funny that the only time he's 'fronted up' so far is in that very brief period when we were winning games when Tonda was the interim...
In fairness I think Alfie said it was above him blocking the interview before that.
No laughs from me. Mind you, I was one of his biggest fans before so I'm a bit biased in his favour.Possibly get laughed at for this, but with the dearth of options, I'd bite the bullet and go out and throw some money for Ralph to come back in, at least for the rest of the season. He wouldn't take any **** (and he hates Stephens, so the potential clique would get a rude wake-up call).

Can't see it happening as I seem to remember that there was friction between SR and Ralph when they bought the club and he was the manager, and then they obviously sacked him only to replace him with Nathan ****ing Jones. I get the want for a strong manager who won't take **** from players, he seems like someone who would just leave players our who are causing **** too, and wouldn't be influenced by those above him, and he is also a 'name' and a far better calibre of manager than we've had since...well...Ralph. But we've also been burnt with the returning hero thing one too many times in recent years, albeit with returning players rather than managers. That said, I just don't see it happening anyway even if Ralph was up for it which seems unlikely, I can't see SR going down that road.
