Watching Thomas Frank press conferences is painful. He is obliged to attend these meetings but he is not obliged to answer every question, yet he does so and struggles with it, making himself look quite awkward.

He certainly does not fill me with the confidence that he has the chops for this job. Maybe behind the scenes he is quite different and he misrepresents himself. I hope so.

I agree but I’m surprised with how bad he’s coming across.

At Brentford he seemed to be media savvy and quite likeable. I’m not sure why Spurs haven’t got that version of him.

I think the pressure of managing us is different to being at Brentford and not everyone has what it takes.

I’m not saying we are a great team but we are a club that runs in a certain way and with a certain task in hand and not everyone can do it.

I think from all in the modern game of managers we need a personality like Klopp

Not saying that we are in for him or getting him etc etc

Just saying a Klopp personality could maybe get something out of us resembling our expectancies as a club and working with the idiots running us.

At Brentford he had the team set up the way he wanted so he could relax, which isn't really the way things are this season

Picture a midfield of Palhinha and Gibbs-White in the pivot with Eze ahead of them, that's what TF was hoping to work with - but then fate decided that the Final Destination films weren't as creative as they could have been

Not surprised he's on edge as he knows he's having to cobble something together for the season with his neck on the chopping block
